The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, October 6, tease that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will face a criminal groom revelation while Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) makes a jackpot Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) discovery.
In Tuscany, Ashland won’t be able to drag this out any longer. Victoria will demand the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so Ashland will finally start his confession. He’ll know this is going to be difficult to hear, but he’ll hope it won’t permanently change Victoria’s view of him.
It’ll eventually dawn on Victoria that Ashland’s admission could affect more than just their personal relationship. This could affect their professional relationship as well since they finalized the Newman-Locke merger not too long ago.
Victoria will realize Ashland’s latest lie is about something illegal and will get him to confirm this indeed involves a crime. She’ll once again push Ashland to spill all, so he’ll explain a secret he hoped would stay buried forever.
It looks like the big secret is that Ashland had Jesse Gaines Sr. change Camilla Rhodes’ will and then got rid of all the records later. Ashland made it seem like Camilla wanted him to inherit everything, but the truth is her fortune should’ve gone to other people.
Although Ashland scored enough money to buy those two news stations and ultimately make a name for himself as a media mogul, he’s been covering his tracks ever since. That includes paying Jesse Gaines for his silence since the younger Gaines apparently found out what his dad did for Ashland.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) paid Gaines off for good and sent him away, but Billy will keep up his efforts to track the former attorney down. He’ll hope Gaines could be the ticket to blowing up all Ashland’s secrets, but there might be other angles Billy can work.
One way or another, Billy will feel like he’s hit the jackpot on Wednesday’s Y&R episode. There’ll be some hot info that pops up and puts Billy on the path to proving Ashland’s guilt.
As for Victoria, she’ll have to come to grips with Ashland’s confession. Victoria will be furious over Ashland hiding something so huge, but she’ll feel like she has to marry Ashland at this point – if only to protect the merger and avoid drawing attention.
It’ll become increasingly clear to Victoria that she’ll have to tie the knot with her criminal groom, but Billy won’t give up on stopping this wedding. Meanwhile, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will find themselves in a tricky situation. They’ll have to cover for a pal somehow, so it sounds like Elena and Nate will have their hands full!
