The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of December 20-24 tease that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will have a blue Christmas while Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) delivers an invite to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will also strike a deal for the holidays, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
For starters, Adam and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will do a little strategizing. A new plan will form against Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), who’ll be ready with a plan of his own.
Billy will revert to some bad habits of the past, but he’ll probably just be putting on a show – at least for the time being.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will battle some serious concerns about his brother, but it looks like Billy will surrender to Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) pressure and come clean about what he’s up to.
Later, Lily and Billy will embrace the Christmas spirit with a fun activity.
Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will help spread some holiday love with Jack as well, so there’ll be some sweet Abbott sibling scenes.
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will also take their relationship to the next level, so it sounds like Elena will officially move in with him.
Back with Adam, he’ll settle on a truce with Chelsea. Adam won’t want to fight or keep rehashing the past, so he’ll work out a deal to focus on Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). Chelsea will agree since she’ll want to make this the best Christmas possible for their son.
As for Phyllis, she’ll invite Nick to do something with her. That could be as simple as having breakfast or a cup of coffee. Phyllis and Nick won’t want to lose their bond completely, so they’ll keep trying to figure out a path to friendship.
Other Y&R spoilers say Victor will have some suspicions when it comes to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and the games she’s playing. Victor may get updates on Sally spying on Billy and wonder about her true motives.
Since Victor feels like Adam’s romantic entanglements are always his downfall, he may warn Sally to keep her distance when it comes to his son’s love life.
Later, Victor and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will get a little reminder about the reason for the season.
As for Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), they’ll have a conversation about the future. Tessa and Mariah will make some plans, so that could involve another baby discussion along with some engagement talk.
Things will be going well in Mariah and Tessa’s relationship, but Chance may keep pulling away from Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway).
Chance will struggle with his trauma and will seem glum after witnessing a close moment that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) shares with Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor.
Finally, Nick will mull over his history with some help from loved ones. There’ll be a special St. Nick episode that teaches him some valuable lessons this Christmas.
