The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Week of January 3 – Sally’s Strange Surprise – Ashland’s Bold Move – Billy Goes Too Far

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of January 3-7 tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will have a strange surprise while Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) makes a bold move. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will also go too far in Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) eyes, so here’s what B&B fans can expect.

For starters, Sally won’t give up on spending some extra alone time with Adam.

Despite the fact that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) was able to derail Adam’s New Year’s Eve briefly, Sally will insist on having some fun with him at the office.

Of course, it’ll be an unconventional one since that’s just how Sally rolls. It won’t be long until Adam walks in Newman Media and finds it decked out for Halloween, so he’ll see a banner and other spooky décor.

Adam and Sally technically agreed not to celebrate New Year’s Eve, so Sally may suggest celebrating this alternate holiday.

Sally should tie this in with their earlier talk about watching a Hitchcock movie and having some pizza, but there’ll be a big problem.

That’s because Chelsea will make a stunning discovery, which may involve catching Adam and Sally looking too close for comfort.

Adam won’t think Chelsea has any right to flip out since his personal life is his business. He’ll make it clear that Chelsea needs to butt out since this doesn’t affect Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).

However, Adam’s connection to Sally is strengthening, which means this could indeed affect Connor down the road.

That’ll worry Chelsea, who’ll angrily ask if Adam’s falling for Sally. Adam may argue that’s once again his business and not Chelsea’s, but he might also deny it in the end – if only to calm her down.

In fact, Adam himself may be in denial about what he really feels for Sally. It’s obvious there’s more happening between them than friendship, but Adam may keep pretending he can maintain boundaries.

Speaking of boundaries, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will eventually seek Adam out to push for those.

Chloe will know Chelsea and Sally aren’t going to back off, so she’ll think it’s Adam’s responsibility to keep things professional with both of them.

Chloe will continue to fret over the fashion platform’s future and will have to play referee as the conflict revs up. Chelsea will have a trap in mind for Sally that’s sure to spell trouble.

In the meantime, Billy will be willing to do whatever it takes to take down Adam. He’ll want to cross too many lines for Lily’s taste, so she’ll come dangerously close to her breaking point.

Naturally, Victoria Newman-Locke’s (Amelia Heinle) involvement in all this will make matters worse.

Lily won’t like Victoria running the show and may think she’s fueling Billy’s risky tendencies.

Billy will feel stuck between his current girlfriend and his ex-wife, which is never a good place to be!

Even so, Billy’s priority will remain fooling Adam and keeping his plan in motion. That means raising the stakes with some huge stunts and trying to convince Adam to take the phony story bait.

Billy will hope Adam and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will find his downfall too difficult to resist reporting on.

Ashland will also do something big and bold in the week ahead.

Ashland will stand his ground in some tense situation, so that may involve this mess with Billy and Lily.

Ashland might show his support for Victoria in front of Lily and Billy, but he’ll privately question her motives for getting caught up in all this.

On another note, Y&R spoilers say Billy will get some good advice from Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland).

Traci always knows just what to say when it comes to her struggling siblings. We’ll see Traci guide Billy down a better path, but it’ll be up to him to stay on it!

Meanwhile, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will no doubt do some soul-searching after facing Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor’s (Melissa Ordway) outburst.

Devon may feel he’s handled this poorly in some ways, but it looks like he’ll maintain his stance when it comes to wanting shared custody..

Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will seek some assistance from Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), so we’ll see if Detective Rosales can come through for him.

Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will also contemplate Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) offer for a new job, so that could distract him from his messy love life – at least for a while.

As for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), she’ll have Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) on her mind as usual.

Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will offer some guidance, so she may think Phyllis needs to stop dwelling on what might go wrong and start focusing on what might go right.

There’s the potential for Jack and Phyllis to have a beautiful reunion, but Phyllis has to get over her fears and be clear with Jack about where she stands.

This is something Phyllis obviously wants, so she needs to convince Jack she’s on board and will be careful with his heart.

Amanda will dish out some potentially harsh truths while Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) does the same with Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose).

There’ll be a run-in between Elena and Imani, so Elena will try to put Amanda’s sister in her place.

If Imani is still expressing interest in Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), Elena may have to offer a warning about backing off her man!

The Young and the Restless spoilers say things are about to heat up in Genoa City, so stay tuned.
