The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview for the week of July 12-16 tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will scare Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) half to death – and Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) secret will enrage Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). We’ll also see Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) promise a big announcement, so here’s what Y&R viewers can look forward to.
First, Sharon will gasp in shock when she runs into Chelsea at Crimson Lights. When Sharon admits Chelsea scared her half to death, Chelsea will offer a little smirk.
Chelsea will be free thanks to Victor and Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) legal maneuvering, so Chelsea will obviously want to gloat to her rival.
Of course, Chelsea will act like she’s recovered mentally and is perfectly fine to be back out in the world. Sharon may have her doubts about that, especially if Chelsea delivers a veiled threat or two.
Chelsea considers Adam enemy number one with Victor not too far behind, but she certainly hasn’t forgotten her hatred for Sharon.
While Sharon has this unsettling encounter, Ashland and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will be gearing up for something exciting.
When they run into Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) at The Grand Phoenix, Ashland will mention that they’re making an announcement in the morning – “something of a personal and business nature.”
Victoria will look pleased with herself, but Billy won’t look happy at all. It looks like Ashland will turn down the “magic number” Billy offered and make the merger deal with Victoria official.
Ashland and Victoria may also go public as a couple, so they’ll make some serious waves in Genoa City.
In the meantime, Victor will realize Nikki must’ve known about this merger as COO of Newman Enterprises, but she told him nothing.
Nikki indeed got heads-up, but she couldn’t betray Victoria’s confidence. She’ll try to make Victor understand, but he’ll view this as a serious act of disloyalty.
As Nikki’s husband, Victor will expect to always come first and be brought in the loop on decisions like this – especially ones that affect the future of Newman Enterprises.
