The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview for the week of July 26-30 teases that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will catch Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) on a secret phone call – and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will deliver a fierce warning to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
A new promo features an emotional Phyllis shouting about how “those two little girls” ran her daughter out of town.
Phyllis vows to get the proof, but Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) doesn’t look pleased about his ex-wife hurling accusations and making things difficult for Sally.
“She’s out to ruin my life!” Sally complains to Tara in the next part of the preview clip.
Tara warns Sally to calm down on the other end of a phone call – one Tara assumes is a secret. She doesn’t realize Kyle is standing nearby and could potentially overhear more than she anticipated.
There’s a good chance Kyle will confront Tara once this call wraps up. Kyle may wonder who Tara was having such a tense conversation with, but Tara should be able to cover.
Tara can just claim she was talking to Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) or perhaps a friend from back in New York.
Tara should appease Kyle with her explanation, but she’ll have other problems to contend with. Y&R spoilers say Phyllis will dupe Sally by stealing her phone and texting Tara with it.
Phyllis will arrange for them to meet in person about a major issue, so that’ll bring confusion and a chaotic scene at The Grand Phoenix.
Phyllis will monitor the security cam feed of the elevator and score a video of the ladies biting each other’s heads off. Unfortunately, there won’t be audio to confirm Tara and Sally’s plot.
Phyllis will still send the video to Jack and Kyle in hopes of turning them against the schemers, but she’ll soon realize she’s going to need more evidence.
Of course, Sally will take a firm stand against Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) meddling mom. She’ll call Phyllis spiteful and vicious for coming at her like this.
Sally will warn that Phyllis is making a big mistake by underestimating her, but maybe Sally’s underestimating Phyllis!
This isn’t Phyllis’ first rodeo when it comes to impressive takedowns, so Sally and Tara had better be ready. We’ll pass along updates as other Y&R news becomes available.
