In tonight’s 9-1-1 episode, a social media influencer is showing off her house when she falls and hits her head in her sauna. Fans call 911. The team works to locate her house since fans only know the area in which she says she lives. They manage to track down her parents who do not know that much about her luxury lifestyle. They manage to locate her whereabouts, sending Bobby and the others.
The team has to remove the hot rocks from the sauna from her cheeks while she is unconscious. She has burns all over her face and on her body. It appears the influencer didn’t in fact buy the house and was trespassing, pretending to live her best life in front of fans.
Maddie brings the baby to see Chim. He sees he has her baby box out on the counter. She looks in it and sees all of these photos of them together. She feels like she has missed so much. Later, she vents to Buck. Maybe she has screwed up her own kid already. She has already missed some major milestones.
May shares with Athena that she needs to make a serious decision about returning back to school. Athena is here for her no matter what she decides to do. Meanwhile, Hen and her wife order Chinese after a terrible experience dining in an igloo. They are freezing only to find their car has been smashed in with their wallets missing.
A groom is sweating at the alter. He is nervous. The wedding planner gives him a pep talk. When the bride comes down the isle and steps on the alter, the groom passes out. Bobby and the team arrive to discover it was a speed wedding. The groom and bride meet for the first time right as they say “I do.” They check him out. Hen realizes his organs are in reverse, a rare condition. They believe he is bleeding internally. They drain some of his blood and stabilize him. Everyone claps.
Hen questions Karen about why she is making all of these requests about special adventurous dates. Karen shares that she feels old. Her coworkers all have these fun lives but her and Hen watch TV and sit around. She wants to make the most of her life.
The next day, Hen vents to the team about Karen and how to help her. They get a call about a little girl who just feel through the earth according to the 911 call. They arrive to find three young girls. Their mother fell through the ground into what they believe a silo. Hen and Chim anchor themselves down. The woman just wants her kids. She is coughing up blood. Things don’t look good. Chim radios to Bobby who puts the kids on the line. Buck comes down to help them.
The mother tells her girls goodbye. They need to stay close and they will always feel her there. She dies right after. Bobby takes the daughters away for a fun ride in the truck. Him and Hen take the mom out and call her ex husband to report her death. The daughters wonder why the sirens aren’t going on their travels. The oldest tells them their mom doesn’t need them anymore.
The social media influencer videos from the hospital. She admits to living a fake life but plans to be honest from now on and work on her recovery and new life. May and Eddie watch the social media video and talk after. May had a path before becoming a dispatcher. She needs to find her way back.
Hen gets Karen right as she gets into bed. She offers to take her to an artwork. Karen admits she is going to embrace being old now. Just then, they get a notification Hen’s credit card is being used. Karen wants to catch a thief. They run down to the bar where the card is being used and track down the thief named Klowee. Karen cannot believe she spells her name that way. After she is hauled off, Hen and Karen decide to stay and have fun.
Chim comes home to a stressed Maddie. Their daughter is being finicky. Their baby then feeds herself with a spork. Maddie is thrilled she is finally seeing a first. Meanwhile, Bobby comes home to find Athena looking at old photos. Her life could have gone so many different ways. The little girls who lost their mom hug it out with their dad as they talk about how they miss her.
