Bull Recap 05/19/22: Season 6 Episode 21 "Silent Killer"

Tonight on CBS their drama Bull inspired by Dr. Phil McGraw airs with an all-new May 19, 2022, episode and we have your Bull recap below. In tonight’s Bull season 6 episode 21 called, “Silent Killer,” as per the CBS synopsis, “When Bull handles the negligent homicide defense of a building owner accused of killing tenants by carbon monoxide poisoning, the case rocks Bull and the TAC team to their core.

Also, TAC’s trial defense is made more difficult when the ADA prosecuting the case is Chunk’s ex-boyfriend, Rob Jones (Erich Bergen), someone very familiar with Bull’s tricks; and Taylor is forced to reevaluate her work-life balance when she gets shocking news about her son.

Tonight’s episode begins with Chunk cross-examining a new client. The man is named Ed. Bull talks to him. He tells him not to hold back. Six people in his building died. Ed explains he couldn’t replace a boiler in his building due to the pandemic. He wishes her could have changed it all. Bull likes his effort. Meanwhile, Dani talks to Marissa and Taylor about her plan to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.

Marissa visits Bull in his office. She discusses how they need to pitch their services to a huge boutique firm. Bull likes this idea. Just then, their client Ed is taken away for homicide. Chunk’s arch-nemesis Rob, the ADA, is with the arresting officer. Bull thinks this is all for the press. He plans to beat him a third time.

Bull and Marissa make plans. She will meet with the boutique law firm and Bull will help Chunk help, Ed. They head to jury selection. Taylor helps them in the background. She suddenly has an emeritus and has to run off. Bull gets creative, dropping water on Chunk to see what jurors are compassionate. Meanwhile, Marissa pitches one of the partners of the boutique firm before seeing Bradley, her former partner come to meet the same lawyer she is trying to win over.

Marissa and Taylor catch up the next day. Taylor’s kid started a fight at school the day before and needed stitches. Hopefully, she can get him to behave. He has been acting out since his dad left. Marissa vents about Bradley.

Chunk and Bull watch as Rob cross-examines a man who lost a loved one in the accident. The man says he met Ed one day and he appeared to be drunk.

Taylor meets with her son’s teacher. She thinks her son has ADHD. Meanwhile, Marissa warns the partner of the law boutique that she has run a mock trial for her real trial and she will lose. Marissa learns she was right. The firm wants to partner with her and Bull.

Bull and Chunk visit Ed’s building. They learn someone severed wires to the boiler. Ed was set up.

Chunk and Bull try to talk to Rob but he thinks Ed is still to blame. Bull thinks they need to double down. They hold a meeting. After some digging they believe a tenant is to blame, a woman named Christy who argues with Ed for being behind on rent.

On the stand, Ed explains his fight with Christy. She couldn’t pay her rent. She could have sliced the wire then she didn’t need to pay. Meanwhile, Marissa learns the boutique doesn’t want to partner with her and Bull after all. They see her as flaky for leaving TAC and then coming back.

Danny tracks down Christy who says the maintenance guy told her not to mess with Ed. She runs and won’t tell Danny anymore. Danny tells Marissa and Bull. He tells them he doesn’t think Ed is evil. They need to ignore all of that.

Chunk gives his closing arguments. Bull starts to have doubts. Meanwhile, Marissa takes away the boutique law firm’s biggest client leaving them speechless. She heads back to the office. She toasts with the team. Bull isn’t in the mood. Ed comes in. He wants to talk to Bull privately. He confesses coldly about a woman he murdered years back. His maintenance man was blackmailing him. He knows if he tells Bull it is privileged. Bull is speechless as Ed leaves.
