Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers preview for the week of September 26-30 teases that Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) will have a car accident while Clyde Weston (James Read) tries to strangle Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) in a brawl. Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) murder motive will also be revealed, so let’s talk about what’s ahead on Days.
For starters, DOOL’s weekly preview video features some flashback scenes that’ll explain what happened the night Abigail died.
Chad will hold Clyde at gunpoint in the cemetery and demand to know why he murdered his wife.
That’ll lead to Clyde spilling the story of why he was at the DiMera mansion and how he ended up physically fighting with Abigail.
Of course, there’s no reason Clyde could offer that would make this better from Chad’s perspective.
Clyde plunged that knife and deserves to pay for it, so that’s all Chad will care about in the end.
Unfortunately, Clyde will gain the upper hand and try to strangle Chad, so he’ll take a page out of Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) old playbook.
Just when it looks like Clyde might murder Chad too, there’s a good chance EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will pump a bullet in his enemy.
Days spoilers say EJ will come to Chad’s rescue, so he may get revenge on Clyde in the process.
Next, Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) will deliver a devastating blow to Nancy Miller (Patrika Darbo), who’ll learn Clyde murdered Abigail and will lean on Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) as she tries to cope.
At the Horton house, Abigail will appear to Jennifer in a vision and push her even further off the rails.
Jennifer will struggle to know whether Abigail is really there in spirit form or if she’s just hallucinating due to drugs.
After a distraught Jennifer gets in her car, disaster will strike. Jennifer will seem drowsy and have a hard time focusing on the road.
Based on some other Days spoilers, it sounds like Jennifer will either crash into Gwen’s vehicle or just flat-out run over her.
Either way, Gwen’s going to land in the hospital with some injuries.
The news of Jennifer’s painkiller relapse will ultimately spread to Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), so they’ll do whatever they can to help her get back on track.
