Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that three romantic summer weddings are on the way, but who will actually tie the knot? Let’s talk about some DOOL engagements and nail down which couples will actually make this big commitment.
1) Nicole and Rafe
Holly Jonas (Elin Alexander) encouraged Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) to get married right away.
Nicole decided Holly was right, so she settled on having this wedding as soon as possible.
Of course, that was before Nicole heard about Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) getting kicked out of the priesthood. Will that change anything for Nicole?
Deep down, Nicole will probably revisit her initial reservations about marrying Rafe and realize she’s still in love with Eric.
However, Nicole won’t want to let Rafe down and may not be sure Eric reciprocates her love anyway.
Meanwhile, Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) will push Eric to make his move before it’s too late!
Eric is going to miss his chance if he’s not careful, but he’ll be torn since Nicole seems so happy on the surface.
As for whether Nicole and Rafe will actually say “I do,” Galen Gering has been spotted on set wearing a wedding ring as part of Rafe’s wardrobe.
It looks like Rafe will marry Nicole and remain committed to her as we move into autumn.
Nevertheless, Days spoilers say this is all part of a slow-build back to Eric and Nicole, so there’s always a chance for a hot affair.
The point is Rafe may win the wedding battle, but he hasn’t won the war for Nicole’s heart!
2) Abe and Paulina
Now that Abe Carver (James Reynolds) has professed his love and confirmed that he wants to be with Paulina Price (Jackée Harry), he’ll make a bold move to prove it.
Paulina will finally get out on bail, so Abe will pop the question again and push her to marry him immediately.
Abe and Paulina won’t know what the future holds, but they’ll want to face it together.
Days spoilers say Paulina and Abe’s wedding day will also tie in with Juneteenth, so it’s rapidly approaching.
Unlike the last time Abe and Paulina tried to get hitched, they should seal the deal this time around.
We have no doubt that Abe will make Paulina his wife, so that’ll raise the stakes for guilty Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) since she’s TR Coates’ (William Christian) real killer.
3) Lucas and Sami
Once Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) makes it back to town, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will propose and spark plans for a third wedding.
This one is bound to end in disaster since Lucas is Sami’s kidnapper – and he framed EJ DiMera (Dan Feurreiegel) to take the fall for it.
Lucas won’t get away with his actions, so it’s safe to say this engagement is going to blow up!
EJ and Belle Brady’s (Martha Madison) feelings for each other will also bring some drama to this story, so Lucas and Sami definitely aren’t going to live happily ever after.
