Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Allie Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Alexander “Alex” Kiriakis’ (Robert Scott Wilson) romance may be brewing, so these two could find new love after Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) reunites with Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman).
There are some good reasons to think Chanel and Johnny aren’t over permanently.
For starters, Chanel’s justification for choosing Allie was more about never having a chance to explore what they could be together.
That leaves the door open for things to not work out once they do explore the romantic side of their relationship.
Chanel said she hoped to be with Allie for the rest of her life, but that’s just not realistic on a soap where breakups often drive the drama.
Plus, Paulina Price-Carver (Jackée Harry) admitted she was pulling for Johnny – and her opinion matters.
When Chanel was making her pros and cons list, it honestly seemed like she was going to choose Johnny before settling on Allie in the end.
Of course, we should also mention that when Lindsay Arnold first auditioned for the show, she read with Robert Scott Wilson.
There’s a chance Days toyed with the idea of an Allie and Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) pairing once upon a time.
Regardless, Wilson is now in the role of Alex Kiriakis and will need a love interest.
DOOL spoilers say Alex will prove to be a bit of a ladies’ man – the kind who just can’t get enough random women in his bed.
However, we also know Alex will eventually find someone who can perhaps tame those wild ways.
There’ll be a woman who enters Alex’s life that might settle him down – and someone like Allie would be a great fit to do that.
That brings us to some Days spoilers for the week of August 8-12.
Alex will get flirty with Chanel, but she obviously doesn’t need another romantic option with Johnny waiting in the wings.
The goal here will likely be to make Allie jealous and set up a new “enemies to lovers” trope.
In other words, Allie may hate Alex for hitting on Chanel, but she could find herself falling for him down the road.
If Chanel breaks Allie’s heart by getting back together with Johnny, Alex may be the one to mend it.
All signs are pointing to an Allie and Alex pairing happening at some point, so we’ll see if that indeed pans out.
