Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will dig for Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) killer clues, so the trail could lead to framed Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo).
After Abigail is brutally murdered, Chad will channel all his pain and fury into catching the person responsible. It may be the only way Chad can carry on after Abigail is suddenly gone from his life.
Of course, Days has done murder mysteries before, so this isn’t DOOL fans’ first rodeo.
It hasn’t been that long since Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) got a whodunit of his own – and we saw just how many people showed up at Charlie’s apartment door that night!
Likewise, there are going to be some revealing moments where plenty of characters become suspects in Abigail’s murder. Days will try to swing things in multiple directions and leave viewers guessing along the way.
Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will have accusations thrown at them – from each other and potentially from Chad down the road. However, Chad will also have to take a closer look at Lucas thanks to their cover-up.
It looks like will work on an article that puts her awfully close to the truth about Lucas and Chad’s frame job.
We can’t forget that Lucas talked Chad into helping him set EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) up for Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) kidnapping, which landed EJ in prison.
That could give Lucas a motive to kill Abigail, especially since he’ll go on a drunken bender and won’t be able to remember a thing about the night Abby was killed.
During the week of June 13-17, Days spoilers say Chad will be on a mission for answers.
That’ll lead to Chad tracking down Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) and grilling her about Lucas.
Chad may want to get to the bottom of where Lucas was and try to determine if he has an alibi.
Since Chad will understandably be devastated and furious, he’ll be eager to make someone pay – and that could lead to him jumping to some wrong conclusions.
That’s especially true if the real killer plants evidence to make Lucas look guilty. With no memory of that night, Lucas will be an easy target.
Not to mention it’ll be fitting payback considering Lucas was the one doing the framing not too long ago!
It’ll be the perfect twist for Lucas to be the one getting framed this time around.
Chad won’t care about anything except avenging Abigail’s death – and that includes outing his own scheme with Lucas if need be.
You can bet Chad will tell the whole ugly story if enough proof surfaces to make Lucas look like the murderer.
Bottom line, Chad will launch an investigation and do whatever it takes to make Abigail’s killer go down.
Although Lucas is surely innocent, he’s bound to face accusations and land in hot water.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Chad’s world will be turned upside down, so he may resolve to turn Lucas’ world upside down, too.
