Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that we’ve got a Christmas preview for you, which features sad goodbyes, stunning miracles and some holiday homecomings. The show put out some great promos that offer a glimpse of what to expect on DOOL.
For starters, Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) will get some news from Will Horton (Chandler Massey) that really bums him out.
When Will reveals that he can’t make it home for the holidays, Sonny will assume he’ll have a blue Christmas without him.
However, it turns out Will’s going to return after all – though the reason why may be a bit of a downer.
We should point out that both Will’s grandmothers are on the verge of dying, so that may be enough to convince him to catch a flight back.
That brings us to those sad goodbyes we mentioned. Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) still has leverage since she’s in possession of the orchid that’ll be needed for more doses of the cure.
Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) told Kristen that Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) would all need boosters, but there’ll be a big problem when the orchid goes missing!
Someone will steal the orchid from Kristen’s hiding spot, so Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will warn that the women’s blood will be on her hands.
Unfortunately, it won’t take long for all three victims to fade fast.
Days spoilers say Kate will die first, so that’ll let everyone else know how serious this is. Next, Kayla will walk into the light and leave her distraught family behind.
Marlena will have a special request as the sands run out of her own hourglass, so look for John Black (Drake Hogestyn) to present a slideshow of their life together on a rooftop.
That’ll lead to Marlena dying in John’s arms as tragedy strikes.
All Belle Brady (Martha Madison) will want for Christmas is her mom, but Marlena will be gone along with Kate and Kayla.
Thankfully, the dead rarely stay dead in Salem, especially when it’s time for Christmas miracles!
There’ll be some heavenly scenes where Kayla, Kate and Marlena have a strange encounter.
The three of them will ultimately be sent back to their loved ones since it won’t be their time to die.
At some point before the year winds down, it looks like some explosion drama will also rock Salem, so there’ll be some other deadly threats to shake things up.
Back with Will, he’ll deal with a marriage mess thanks to how close Sonny and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) are getting.
Despite Sonny’s happiness over Will’s holiday homecoming, Leo will manage to stir the pot.
Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will still be on solid ground with Sarah Cook (Linsey Godfrey) at Christmas since they’ll share a kiss in holiday attire.
It looks like Sarah and Xander will help out with the holiday party for the kids at the hospital.
Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will also come home for Christmas with the twins, so it’ll be a nice treat to see him back in Salem for a visit.
