Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that we’ve got a DOOL summer preview for you, so let’s talk about a murder mystery, wedding fever and some explosive secrets.
For starters, Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) will make her long-awaited return to Salem – and it won’t be long until Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) pops the question.
Lucas will hope to marry Sami and begin a new chapter together, but there’ll be some problems along the way.
Sami doesn’t realize Lucas is the one behind her kidnapping – nor does she realize Lucas framed EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) for it.
That secret is sure to explode at some point, but Sami could also find herself at war with Belle Brady (Martha Madison) over her own feelings for EJ.
Belle’s decision to seek a legal separation from Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will sting and leave him feeling like she’s abandoning their marriage.
Shawn will assume this is about Belle wanting to be with EJ, but a lot of it will be about Jan Spears’ (Heather Lindell) manipulation.
Jan will continue to stir the pot, so Shawn will be stuck in plenty of drama while Belle and EJ get closer.
Other Days spoilers say Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will await Chanel Dupree’s (Raven Bowens) decision.
Although Johnny and Allie will try to be patient, they can’t wait around forever.
Chanel is in love with both twins, but she’ll eventually have to pick one and head down a firm romantic path.
Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will face a romantic decision of his own thanks to his removal from the priesthood opening up a path to Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker).
Of course, Eric will be hesitant to blow up Nicole and Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) engagement, but Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) will think Nicole deserves to know what’s in Eric’s heart.
We should note that Galen Gering was spotted on set wearing a wedding ring in scenes that are coming up this fall.
That certainly makes it seem like Rafe and Nicole’s marriage will become official, but there’s always a chance of an affair with Eric down the road!
In the meantime, let’s discuss more summer drama.
Although Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will get her romance with Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) back on track, there’ll be some complications.
It turns out Sarah will have some aftereffects related to the drugs she was given.
Those aftereffects won’t derail Sarah’s love for Xander, but they could derail her life in other shocking ways.
Next, Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) will battle more guilt over shooting TR Coates (William Christian) and letting Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) take the fall.
Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will push Lani to stay tight-lipped and protect their family, but that’ll become increasingly difficult to do.
Paulina will ultimately make bail, so that’ll give her a chance to make a bold move with Abe Carver (James Reynolds).
Days spoilers say Abe will want to marry Paulina and stand by her no matter what the future holds, so their wedding is on the horizon.
As for Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal), they’ll get a present that’ll change their lives.
Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) will send a special delivery that’ll force Ciara and Ben to make a significant choice about their future.
Finally, a major murder mystery is brewing.
Since we know Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) is set to be killed off in gruesome fashion this summer, she seems poised to be the victim of this whodunit.
