Days fans know that when a presumed dead character turns up alive, it’s usually due to Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (William Utay) serum – and Kristen is often involved.
Kristen once had a whole warehouse full of recovering Salemites, so maybe she’s got another one by now.
Although there’s no official confirmation just yet, there have definitely been some insider rumblings about Stefan returning from the dead.
It makes sense considering the latest story developments and the fact that Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) has grown a bit stale as a character.
With Barash right there working for Days anyway, why not have him play Stefan and shake things up with a new story?
DOOL buzz hints that the show will explain away Stefan’s death and make it so he’s got a heart along with full brain activity.
Stefan has potentially been recovering somewhere with Kristen’s minions babysitting him.
Now Stefan is perhaps almost ready to reclaim the DiMera throne and turn Gabi Hernandez DiMera’s (Camila Banus) world upside down.
Kristen offered the surprise vote that allowed Gabi to remain in power.
However, Kristen contacted Jake privately after the shareholder meeting to admit she’d prefer having a true DiMera on the throne.
What happens if Jake refuses to cooperate or uses Kristen to get the CEO seat and then bails on their collaboration?
There’s always going to be major trouble if you cross someone like Kristen.
Everything that’s happening here just feels strange – like it’s building somewhere explosive.
Kristen may be making some manipulative moves and setting the stage for Stefan DiMera’s exciting Days comeback.
If Jake doesn’t do what Kristen wants, then maybe she’ll send his twin brother back in retaliation!
That could ruin Jake’s chances at DiMera Enterprises and his chances of a future with Gabi.
Regardless, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) efforts to take over DiMera could face yet another roadblock if Stefan DiMera returns to reclaim the CEO spot.
Some major business bombshells could be brewing along with ones in the love department.
Bottom line, there are some good reasons to think Stefan is indeed returning.
