Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) may team up to dethrone Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus). A DiMera power grab seems to be in the works, so let’s talk about the Days drama ahead.
DOOL fans know EJ has been doing everything he can to knock Gabi out of the CEO seat and steal it for himself.
Although EJ’s efforts haven’t proven successful so far, he’s certainly not giving up.
Of course, Gabi only has control of Stefan’s shares because of his “death.” It’ll be a game-changer in more ways than one when Stefan reenters the picture.
During the week of September 12-16, Days spoilers say Gabi will have to deal with Stefan’s romantic rejection.
Due to Stefan’s conditioning, he’ll want Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) instead of his wife.
Stefan may be so fixated on trying to win Chloe’s heart that it becomes his true priority.
That could work to EJ’s advantage when it comes to his attempt to regain power.
After Gabi gives EJ updates on Stefan’s survival, we’ll see EJ do some brainstorming.
EJ will eventually reach out to Stefan with a tempting proposal, so will Stefan decide to accept it?
EJ may realize that Stefan now hates Gabi due to Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) brainwashing. It’s tough to believe Stefan would leave Gabi in control of his shares and allow her to fun his family’s company.
Stefan is Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) namesake, so the fate of the company will surely still matter to him – even if he’s too busy pursuing Chloe to run it himself.
That could put EJ in the prime position to gain Stefan’s support and finally knock Gabi off the throne.
Of course, it’s also possible Stefan will crave his own power.
Stefan may think he can have it all – a wonderful romance with Chloe along with reinstatement as DiMera Enterprises’ CEO.
EJ would rather have a real DiMera running things, so Stefan would be a step up from Gabi at least.
Still, EJ would prefer to have that CEO spot himself and might even be willing to share it with Stefan. Maybe EJ could settle on a co-CEO pitch eventually.
One way or another, EJ will hope to get Gabi out of the CEO seat with Stefan’s help!
