Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Friday, August 5, teases that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will race for killer proof while Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) faces an ex-husband problem. Paulina Price-Carver (Jackée Harry) will also land in a tight spot, so let’s talk about what’s coming up on DOOL.
Now that Sarah suspects Gwen killed Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) and wore the Sarah mask to frame her, she wants hard evidence.
Xander mentioned that Gwen texted him her motel room information, so now he can sneak in with Sarah and dig for the proof they need.
Of course, Days spoilers say Sarah and Xander will have to work fast!
Gwen could come back at any moment and derail their plans, so Xander and Sarah will need to get right down to business.
While Sarah and Xander are rummaging around, Gwen will face another one of Leo Stark’s (Greg Rikaart) interrogations.
Since Leo still doesn’t seem convinced Gwen is innocent, she may rip into him for the nonstop questions.
Leo is keeping secrets as well, so Gwen may turn this around on him and once again insist he might’ve killed Abigail.
Although Gwen and Leo are friends, they’ll bicker since they’ve both got something to hide.
That said, it’s doubtful that Gwen killed Abigail – and Leo doesn’t seem to be the guilty party either.
Even so, Gwen did wear the Sarah mask to the DiMera mansion that night and still has it in her possession.
Will Xander and Sarah find the mask or did Gwen put it somewhere new for safekeeping?
Regardless, Gwen might come back to her motel room while the search is in progress, so Sarah and Xander had better be careful.
Other Days spoilers say Johnny will struggle to let go of Chanel.
Although Chanel decided Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) was the one she wanted to be with, Johnny may hope to reverse that decision.
That might be where Paulina comes in since Johnny will pressure her into assisting with his plan.
Paulina believes Johnny might be a better match for Chanel, but she’ll no doubt be torn about the drama this could cause.
Johnny’s move could backfire and leave Chanel fuming if this goes wrong.
Chanel expects Johnny to be a mature adult like he promised – not carry out some scheme to potentially win her back.
At the Kiriakis mansion, Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) will face a shocking sight.
It looks like that’ll involve Alexander “Alex” Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and whoever he’ll be sizzling with under the sheets!
