Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, June 10, reveals that Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) was stabbed to death – and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) explained that she’d hallucinated. Leo Stark’s (Greg Rikaart) hidden knife also set up some drama, so let’s talk about how all the Days action played out.
In prison, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) reiterated over the phone that if she couldn’t spend Jack Deveraux’s (Matthew Ashford) birthday with him, then neither could Abigail.
Leo was taken aback when Gwen pushed him to stab Abigail in the heart with the sharpest object he could find.
Although Leo acted like Gwen’s request was too extreme, he had to go since his phone was about to die.
Gwen hoped that Abigail would die soon as well and got cut off when the line indeed went dead.
As for Leo, he stared at the knife from his breakfast tray before stuffing it into his backpack.
Meanwhile, Belle Brady (Martha Madison) got upset over EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) acting like Shawn Brady’s (Brandon Beemer) dead baby would be a silver lining.
Although Belle wasn’t happy about the whole situation, she didn’t wish a child dead.
EJ was apologetic, but there was still tension as Belle took off for the hospital.
After EJ reflected on how Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) would’ve handled the situation, he decided to go smooth things over.
Moments after EJ left, Leo emerged from the secret tunnels and was eager to deal with Abigail.
In the town square, Abigail reassured Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) about keeping Lucas Horton’s (Bryan Dattilo) kidnapping secret and revealed that she was ovulating, so they dashed home to try for another child.
Leo wound up getting stuck in the bathroom with his knife-toting bag while Chad and Abigail made love.
In the aftermath, Abigail felt confident they had made a baby and pitched the idea to Chad of traveling to Boston with the kids for Jack’s birthday.
Once Chad and Abigail were decent, Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) and Charlotte DiMera (Autumn Gendron) appeared in their bedroom.
The kids found out about the Boston trip, but Thomas reminded Chad that he’d promised to take them to the movies today.
Abigail stayed behind to finish up some work, but she shared some sweet hugs with the kids and stopped Chad for an extra “I love you” on his way out.
That left Abigail alone while Leo remained in the bathroom.
At the hospital, Sarah approached Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and feared she was losing her mind.
The antidote seemed to be wearing off since Sarah had a hallucination of Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) coming at her with a syringe.
It turned out to be Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) with a pen, but Sarah hadn’t shared her troubling ordeal with Victor, Maggie Kiriakis (Susanne Rogers) or Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) yet.
Marlena pointed out the high drug dosage Sarah had been given, but she still offered hope for managing these hallucinations with more meds and keeping her recovery on track.
When Marlena suggested talking to Abigail since she’d been in Sarah’s shoes, Sarah agreed that was a good idea.
Afterward, Sarah wound up at Statesville, where she confronted Gwen over all her horrible behavior.
Gwen tried to put the blame on Abigail, but Sarah kept the focus on Gwen and gloated about being back together with Xander.
Once Gwen was alone on Friday’s Days episode, she called in a favor over the prison phone.
At the pub, Lucas assured Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) that he wasn’t drinking, but he wasn’t pleased over her news about Abigail being brought in the loop on his snatching secret.
Kate once again suggested that Lucas could tell Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) the truth himself, but he knew that wasn’t an option.
After Lucas made plans to meet up with Kate for dinner, he swiped a bottle of booze and took off on his own.
At the hospital, Belle offered her support to Shawn following Jan’s placental abruption and hugged him right as EJ appeared.
Shawn didn’t want EJ around and quickly lashed out.
Marlena also gave Shawn updates on Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) making it through surgery OK, but her baby had to be delivered early.
Shawn’s newborn son was tiny, but he was alive and in the NICU.
After Shawn decided to go be with Jan when she woke up, Belle asked EJ to get her out of there.
Several hours later, Lucas was passed out drunk and sprawled out on a hotel bed.
Leo also seemed out of breath and nervous as he plopped down on a park bench with his bag.
Gwen was confronted by a guard at Statesville since she missed bed check, but she claimed she fell asleep in the prison library.
The guard pointed out that they checked there, but Gwen acted like she was in a secret corner.
Outside the DiMera mansion on Friday’s DOOL episode, EJ and Belle ended up sharing a passionate make-out session.
Meanwhile, Chad was shocked to find Abigail lifeless in their bed. Abigail had been stabbed in the abdomen and was bleeding from the wound as Chad turned her over.
