Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) and Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) official breakup is on the way. This couple will come together for an angry and emotional goodbye once the devil succeeds in blowing up their relationship.
Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) is currently possessed, so he enjoys creating chaos and driving Salemites down sinister paths.
DOOL viewers know Johnny set out to derail Gabi’s romance and steal her for himself, so he’ll at least achieve the first part during the week of March 7-11.
Of course, Gabi can barely tolerate Jake right now.
Gabi assumes Jake betrayed her thanks to the devil’s trickery, so Johnny has convinced her to make Jake pay in more ways than one.
Before this breakup that’s brewing, Days spoilers say Gabi will steal the DiMera throne and leave Jake with nothing.
It’ll bring Gabi great pleasure to hijack Jake’s dream and make it so she’s the one in charge.
Johnny will also land on the DiMera board instead of Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston), so the hits will just keep coming for blindsided Jake.
There’ll be some other devil drama, but let’s focus on the actual split that’s looming for Jake and Gabi.
These two were living in total bliss together before the devil came along and wrecked things between them.
It’ll be hard for Jake and Gabi to think about how much their romance has crumbled in such a short amount of time.
Jake won’t be able to make sense of why Gabi betrayed him, but she’ll think he’s the one who betrayed her first!
In the end, Gabi and Jake won’t put a lot of effort into sorting out the confusion anyway. There’ll just be this overwhelming sense that it’s over and that’s that.
Some complicated emotions will bubble up on both sides, so Jake and Gabi will struggle with plenty of pain, rage and more.
Days fans will see some intense scenes as Gabi and Jake reflect on their love story reaching such an abrupt conclusion.
Naturally, there’s a good chance Jake and Gabi will find their way back to each other once the truth about possessed Johnny is proven, but they’ll make this breakup official in the meantime.
