Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that we have to ask: Is Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) scamming Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas)? It’s possible Craig has found true love, but it’s equally possible this is a heartbreaking con job.
There’s no confirmation yet on Leo being Craig’s secret boyfriend, but it certainly makes sense under the circumstances.
We know Greg Rikaart will indeed reprise his role as Leo Stark soon, so there’s a good chance Craig has fallen hard for Leo.
Of course, Leo has been involved in plenty of shady activities, so we have to wonder if this is a scam.
After all, part of Nancy Wesley’s (Patrika Darbo) cheating evidence included the $500 restaurant bills that Craig was racking up.
It sounds like Craig has been treating his “honey” to some nice meals and wonderful getaways.
Leo may have latched onto Craig as a bit of a sugar daddy while leading Craig to believe this is real love.
Let’s face it: Leo has always been a rather flashy DOOL character and isn’t someone that comes to mind for an actual love story.
It’s a weird choice to pair Leo up with Craig, especially since Craig is being so earnest about how much he loves this mystery man.
Craig’s affair might blow up into a different kind of trouble down the road.
Leo could easily be exposed as Craig’s scammer in the end, so that’s an option to mull over.
There might even be some much bigger agenda that Days has yet to reveal.
In that case, Craig might be heartbroken until he embarks on a journey to find the real love he seeks.
Maybe it could pave the way for Craig to fall for someone else – this time in a more legitimate romance where money and gifts weren’t a factor.
Then again, maybe Craig’s love could change Leo for the better.
Perhaps Days fans will meet the new-and-improved Leo when it’s time for Craig and his boyfriend to have their upcoming double date.
Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) will take Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) with her to meet Craig’s new beau, so that could bring a Leo shocker and stir up some questions about his motives.
That’s set to play out during February sweeps, so look for this double date to happen by the end of the month.
