Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that we’ve got a July sweeps preview, which contains paternity drama, deadly cover-ups and marriage messes.
First, we should talk about some big DOOL departures. Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will both exit Salem, so losing these two will be a tough blow for the show.
Unfortunately, another joint Days exit will hit as Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal) set sail on the boat Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) gives them – though you’ll still be able to catch Ciara and Ben in Beyond Salem on Peacock.
Robert Scott Wilson will return as Alex Kiriakis down the road, but let’s talk about some other drama that’s happening in the meantime.
Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) murder mystery will remain a huge part of the action.
Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), Clyde Weston (James Read), Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo), Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and other surprising Salemites could find themselves on the suspect list.
Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will do some digging and uncover some new clues along the way – like one of Abigail’s missing bracelets, which Clyde got from Leo and gave to Nancy Miller (Patrika Darbo).
Of course, Rafe will also be focused on wedding plans soon, but Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) will seem more inclined to drag her feet on tying the knot. Part of Rafe may have to wonder if Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) is the reason why.
Eric and Nicole’s feelings for each other will grow stronger as she builds toward her wedding day.
Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) will try to convince Eric that he has to confess his lingering love now or else he might always regret it.
Once Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) gets EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) to sign the divorce papers, she’ll be free to marry Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo).
As Sami and Lucas prepare to head to the altar, his mountain of secrets could become harder to manage.
Lucas snatched Sami, had someone hold her hostage and let EJ take the blame for it.
There’s also the matter of this bender Lucas went on that resulted in a blackout and a missing night of memories.
The fear of potentially being Abigail’s murderer will make the stress of the kidnapping even worse for Lucas.
Although Lucas surely didn’t kill Abigail, the whole abduction cover-up is bound to blow up in his face.
Belle Brady (Martha Madison) will keep trying to navigate her crumbling marriage to Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and her steamy EJ connection.
EJ and Belle’s hot bedroom session should make things even more complicated.
Speaking of complicated, it turns out Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) has weaved quite the tangled web of deception.
A paternity test supposedly proved Shawn was the father of Jan’s baby, but it seems that test was rigged.
It looks like Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox is the biological father of Jan’s baby instead, so that’ll become a secret that’s just waiting to explode.
Orpheus (George DelHoyo) knows the truth about Jan’s little one and will create problems once he gets in touch with her.
Other Days spoilers say Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will grow increasingly worried about Sarah’s mental state and all these horrible hallucinations she keeps having.
After a particularly bad one where Sarah tries to attack Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) with a knife, it’ll lead to questions and concerns related to the whodunit.
Xander may worry that Sarah attacked Abigail that night and has blocked out the trauma.
You can bet Xander will do everything in his power to protect Sarah – maybe even try to take the fall himself if it comes to that.
As for Chanel’s romantic future, she’ll have to decide which twin she truly wants.
Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) can’t wait indefinitely, so they’ll push Chanel to make her choice.
