Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Kyle Lowder will return as Rex Brady, so Stephen Nichols has teased his new scene partner and offered some story clues in a video from the studio. Let’s talk about Nichols’ message and what it means.
On social media, Stephen Nichols recently posted a clip of himself showing up at Mary Beth Evans’ (Kayla Johnson) dressing room door.
As Kyle Lowder appeared nearby, Nichols showed off his costar and referred to him as their “other scene partner.”
Of course, this is interesting since there must be a reason why Rex, Kayla and Steve are going to interact.
It looks like Lowder will be sticking around for a longer Days stint than usual, so that’s another clue to mull over.
One explanation for all that might involve a health crisis for Kayla.
It may be a situation where the doctor needs a doctor, so Dr. Rex Brady can potentially head back to work at the hospital and help Kayla medically.
Evans was spotted on set in a hospital gown at one point, so that’s something to keep in mind.
Plus, Steve and Kayla’s kids will soon make the trip from Seattle to Salem, so that could be due to this possible medical crisis, too.
Regardless, it’s always nice to see familiar faces on DOOL, so it’ll be great to have Kyle Lowder back in the mix as Rex.
Stephen Nichols certainly had some kind things to say in the tweet that accompanied this fun video.
“And look … a new scene partner for @marybeth_evans1 and me. He’s a solid actor and a good guy too. Lucky us,” Nichols said about Lowder on Twitter.
Could Rex find love again while he’s in Salem as well?
Time will tell, but Lowder will apparently be part of at least one big Days story and that’s worth getting excited about.
