Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, August 1, teases that Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly) will seek paternity proof while Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) outburst scares Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher). Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will also sound the alarm, so let’s talk about what’s coming up on DOOL.
At the hospital, Shawn will stroll in with Shawn Christian Brady and bicker with Evan over the court-ordered DNA test.
Evan will feel confident it’s going to back him up, but Shawn may act like Orpheus (George DelHoyo) is just messing with him.
Despite all the bickering, there’ll be no denying the truth soon enough.
This DNA test will be legit – and the results will prove Evan is definitely the “baby daddy.”
Next on Monday’s Days episode, Steve will vent to John Black (Drake Hogestyn) about Orpheus being back on the streets.
That’ll alarm Steve, especially since Orpheus has already been threatening his children.
Steve will warn John about the dangers of Orpheus’ freedom and hope they can settle on a new plan.
As far as Steve’s concerned, they need to get Orpheus under control before he can do any more damage.
However, Orpheus will already be stirring up more trouble.
Days spoilers say Orpheus will pay Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) a visit and request something special.
Although Marlena will want to get rid of Orpheus, he’ll try to twist her arm into whatever plot he’s cooking up.
Orpheus always has a trick or two up his sleeve, so he may convince Marlena to grant his wish.
At the Salem PD, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will confront Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) in the interrogation room.
Xander won’t be happy about Lucas accusing Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), but Lucas may argue that he simply told the truth.
Thanks to Lucas’ hypnosis session, he remembered Sarah was at the DiMera mansion the night of Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) murder.
Lucas also recalled Sarah dropping something that the cops believe may have been the murder weapon.
Xander will get Lucas to repeat his side of the story and fear for Sarah’s future.
Despite how bad things look for Sarah, Xander will soon become determined to help her clear her name – and that means Sarah will need a hypnosis session of her own.
In the town square, Xander will have an awkward encounter with Gwen, who’ll also spend some time catching up with Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart).
When Chad comes along and finds Gwen with Leo, that’ll bring some tense moments.
At the Horton house, Thomas will face Chad’s outburst and perhaps get a little scared by it.
Chad mentioned how Abigail used to do fun voices for story time, so Thomas may complain about Daddy not doing them right.
Since Chad is in such a fragile state, he might blow up about how he’s not Mommy and can’t take her place.
No matter how this plays out, Chad and Thomas will eventually realize they both need each other right now.
This is a time to come together and remember what they’ve lost.
Abigail’s demise will continue to take a toll on Chad and his family, but getting justice might help on Chad’s path to closure.
