Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, August 22, tease that Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) will wake up after Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) procedure goes awry. Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will also spill her side of the story to Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), so let’s talk about what’s coming up on DOOL.
For starters, Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) will cover now that Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) has caught him with “that creep.”
It looks like Li will send Dr. Rolf on his way and come up with some phony excuse for why they met up.
Although Gabi may act like she believes Li, part of her should remain suspicious and on edge. Gabi has already been worried about Li hiding something, so this certainly won’t do anything to ease her mind.
Once Dr. Rolf is back in the lab, he’ll get to work on his brainwashing procedure. Dr. Rolf will do his best to make sure Stefan’s torch for Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) reignites, but there’ll be a big problem.
Days spoilers say Stefan will wake up too quickly, so Dr. Rolf won’t have a chance to carry out all his brainwashing tactics.
After Stefan’s eyes fly open, he’ll grab Dr. Rolf in a state of total confusion and agitation.
Of course, Stefan will have plenty of questions since the last thing he’ll remember is getting shot.
The newly awakened DiMera will demand answers and try to figure out he ended up in this lab.
Other Days spoilers say Gwen will face Rafe’s interrogation at the Salem PD.
We’ll hear Gwen give her version of events regarding the night of Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) murder, so she may admit her escape and share what she saw at the DiMera mansion.
Gwen isn’t the most reliable narrator, so Rafe may be skeptical once he hears her side of the story.
Nevertheless, Gwen will swear she didn’t kill Abigail and might actually offer some new clues about who did.
Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) will also make a confession to Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty), so he’ll give his lawyer all the info he has about the night Abigail died and hope for the best.
Although Leo and Gwen both seem innocent of Abigail’s murder, they still committed other crimes that’ll leave them in a tight spot with DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang).
Days of Our Lives spoilers say more surprises are brewing in Abigail’s whodunit, so stick with DOOL.
