Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, December 12, tease that Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) will have a clown job to do for Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) will also mull over their future while a Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) rescue mission gets underway, so here’s what DOOL fans can look forward to.
For starters, Leo will spend some time bonding with Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker), so they’ll deepen their new friendship.
That could lead to more problems with Will Horton (Chandler Massey) since Leo and Sonny may eventually get too close for comfort.
In the park, Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) will flip out now that she’s connected the kidnapper dots.
Xander will insist Bonnie’s got it all wrong, but she may stand her ground and vow to tell Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth), Sarah Cook (Linsey Godfrey) and the cops.
Gwen may arrive in time to witness Bonnie’s meltdown – or she’ll at least hear about it in the aftermath from Xander.
Regardless, Days spoilers say Gwen will be determined to fix this for Xander somehow, so she’ll come to his rescue with a new scheme.
That scheme will involve recruiting Leo to play the part of an evil clown!
Leo will have to don a clown mask and pose as the kidnapper for Gwen’s trick, which may exploit Bonnie’s PTSD and confusion.
Bonnie’s mind can’t make sense of much right now since she’s so distraught, so that could be something that works in Xander’s favor.
Whatever the case, Xander isn’t going down for kidnapping just yet, so Gwen’s plan will work during the week of December 12-16.
Other Days spoilers say Chad will have a working dinner with Stephanie and talk about the future.
This should involve Chad’s goal of stepping away from SJPR, but Stephanie may push him to stay on board.
Of course, Chad and Stephanie may also discuss their mutual feelings for each other, which haven’t gone away.
Although Chad doesn’t think he’s ready to move on from Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller), he can’t deny that he’s drawn to Stephanie.
Likewise, Stephanie still feels connected to Chad despite her new romance with Alex, so this love triangle will remain in full force.
That said, Stephanie may stick with Alex for now and leave Chad stuck pining for a while. As other Days news rolls in, we’ll deliver updates.
