Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, January 17, teases that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will have a courtroom meltdown while Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo) shares a sad story. Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) will also become possessed Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) new obsession, so there’ll be some hot drama happening across Salem.
At the courthouse, Days spoilers say Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will seethe over the shocking scene he just witnessed.
Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will no doubt push EJ away and deliver a hard slap for the kiss he just planted.
Abigail will wonder what EJ thinks he’s doing – and that’s something Chad will want to know, too!
Of course, Chad has learned his lesson when it comes to trusting his wife, so he’ll believe Abigail when she promises this was all one-sided.
Chad will blame EJ for making this bizarre move on Abigail out of the blue, so that’ll change his plans.
Although Chad previously decided to come clean about the planted evidence, the devil’s choking strategy got in the way.
Now Johnny is messing with Chad once again since this is clearly another one of the devil’s illusions.
Possessed Johnny transformed into EJ for that kiss trick, so he’ll be glad when Chad retaliates by ensuring EJ’s takedown.
Of course, Chad won’t be the only one who slams EJ on the witness stand. Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will also testify, but he’ll ultimately add perjury to his list of crimes.
DOOL fans know Lucas is the real kidnapper – and EJ’s convinced of that as well.
That’s why EJ’s anger will become too much to bear when Lucas points the finger at him in court. EJ will refuse to sit there and listen to Lucas drag him through the mud, especially when Lucas is guilty himself.
After EJ gets up and accuses Lucas of snatching Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney), he’ll shout a murder threat and make Belle Brady’s (Martha Madison) job even tougher.
The judge will want Belle to control her client, but she’ll struggle to do that since EJ’s got such a hot temper.
Back with Johnny, Days spoilers say he’ll cross paths with Gabi and give her loads of attention.
Johnny will definitely fixate on Gabi as a huge part of his next plan. Gabi will be willing to let Johnny seduce her somewhat – especially if it means getting him on her side in the DiMera takeover battle that’s brewing.
Johnny has some takeover plans of his own, so he could prove to be a backstabber. Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) will support Gabi’s mutual flirting with Johnny, but he won’t trust the guy.
Johnny could certainly cause some issues for Gabi and Jake as things get hot and heavy later in the week, January 17 to January 21.
In the meantime, Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will listen to Nancy’s concerns about Craig Wesley (Kevin Spiritas).
Nancy will admit that although their marriage seemed fine for many years, something’s different about Craig lately.
Craig now seems to be keeping secrets and has put up walls with Nancy. She’s seeing signs of cheating, so she’ll convey those to Brady and Chloe in Monday’s DOOL episode.
However, Chloe and Brady will feel like Nancy needs to be talking to Craig instead of them.
It might be the only way to nail down whether Craig has truly been unfaithful.
Chloe will try to call Craig, but she’ll just get his voicemail.
Chloe will leave an urgent message in hopes of arranging a conversation between her mom and dad, but Craig will decide to just show up in person before the week’s over.
Nancy will be adamant that Craig cheated with another woman, but something tells Craig might actually have a man on the side!
That’d be a real twist in this affair storyline, so we’ll see how it all plays out.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Chloe will have a hard time dealing with all her parents’ issues, so she’ll lean on Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) as she tries to cope.
