Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) prison stint will likely begin and leave him stuck at Statesville. Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) may guarantee a kidnapping conviction and jail time for his wrongfully accused father, but that’s only because the devil’s dwelling inside him.
DOOL fans know Johnny put on quite a show about embracing the DiMera family legacy and wanting to help EJ if he went to prison.
Johnny was able to gain EJ’s trust and convince him to transfer ownership of his shares, so EJ signed the necessary documents and set himself up for more trouble.
Of course, this case may be a slam dunk thanks to the devil’s special powers – not to mention the strong case that DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) is presenting.
No matter what other Days twists and turns come along, Johnny seems poised to make sure EJ is convicted and sentenced to a lengthy Statesville stint.
That’ll give Johnny an opportunity to run DiMera Enterprises into the ground while EJ’s serving his time – at least until EJ can sort this mess out.
However, we want to talk about EJ’s side of all this for a moment. Days spoilers say EJ will be forced to suffer since he’s an innocent man who’s lost his wife and his backup love interest.
Although EJ didn’t snatch Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney), she still turned against him and reunited with true kidnapper Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo).
Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) certainly didn’t want EJ back after the way he unceremoniously dumped her, so he’s bound to feel pretty blue behind bars.
There’s a good chance Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) will return to visit her beloved son once he’s incarcerated.
Although Johnny made Susan forget all her devil memories, they might still be buried in there somewhere.
Maybe Susan could get a clue once she comes back in the picture and talks to EJ about the DiMera chaos Johnny will soon be causing.
Susan might still become a key player when it comes to exposing Johnny down the road.
Regardless, possessed Johnny should take great pleasure in sending EJ to the slammer if everything goes according to plan!
