Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, June 27, teases that John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will come to Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) rescue while Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) suspects Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) is having some doubts.
DOOL fans know Chad has been struggling to cope with the loss of Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller), especially now that he’s been forced to break the news to the kids.
Chad’s world was shattered in an instant, so he’s trying to pick up the pieces of his broken heart and life.
Of course, there’s no reason why Chad should go through this alone.
Chad has already been getting support from EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and some other helpful Salemites, but it’ll be John and Marlena’s turn soon.
Days spoilers say Chad will be drowning in grief, but Marlena and John will try to keep him afloat.
There’s nothing John and Marlena can do to bring Abigail back, but knowing they care should help in some small way.
Over with Rafe, Days spoilers say he’ll worry that Nicole might want to back out of this wedding.
Nicole may not be in any hurry to reschedule, so that could make Rafe wonder if she even wants to get married at all.
The real problem is that Nicole’s old feelings for Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) are rushing back, but she’ll keep telling herself it’s Rafe that she wants.
Nicole will do her best to convince Rafe she’s still committed to their future.
As for Roman Brady (Josh Taylor), he’ll encourage Eric to get honest with Nicole before this wedding happens.
Eric won’t want to derail Nicole’s bliss with Rafe, but Roman will feel like Eric has to act on his own feelings – especially since Nicole might feel the same way.
Other Days spoilers say Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) will ring the doorbell and delay EJ’s hookup with Belle Brady (Martha Madison).
There’s the potential for Sami to realize some sort of romantic entanglement is going on.
However, Sami will try to concentrate less on her anger and more on her desire to marry Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo), which can’t happen until EJ signs some fresh divorce papers.
After EJ fails to make Sami believe she’s about to wed her own kidnapper, he’ll sign the papers and send Sami on her way.
When EJ immediately wants to restart his passionate encounter with Belle, she’ll question his motives.
EJ will also want updates on Belle’s agenda, especially since she usually only comes running to him after fighting with Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer).
Part of Belle wants to hurt Shawn like she’s been hurt – and it’s satisfying for EJ to sleep with Sami’s sister as well.
Even so, there’s an authentic bond that EJ and Belle will have to address.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Belle will cave in and head up to the bedroom with EJ, so things are about to take a hot turn.
