Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, May 16, teases that Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) and Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) will face off while Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) exorcism plan fails. The devil will threaten to kill Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) as we near the climax of the possession storyline, so some bombshells are brewing in Salem.
In the cemetery, Days spoilers say Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will try to shove past the transference barrier and rescue Baby Bo Brady.
The devil will thwart Ben’s efforts, so Ben will lose consciousness once he’s thrown away from the pentagram.
DOOL fans will see a white light shine down on Ciara, so she’ll be protected as she makes her own rescue attempt.
That one will prove successful thanks to Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) coming through for his daughter when it counts.
While Ben and Ciara head back to the hospital with the baby, Allie will flee to St. Luke’s and head up to the loft.
That’s where Allie will decide to set the place on fire, but Eric will try to lead the charge on an exorcism.
Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will back Eric up, but that exorcism won’t happen once the devil switches tactics.
The devil will threaten to murder Allie, so that’ll cause a setback for those working to save her soul.
Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will also rush to the scene – and so will Tripp, but he’ll have a showdown with Charlie first.
Tripp may send Charlie back to the grave before he finds possessed Allie on the verge of a grim fate.
In that moment, Tripp will make a selfless choice.
Days spoilers say Tripp will offer to trade his life for Allie’s, so the devil will soon enter his body – and things are only going to get more chaotic from there!
Tripp will soon realize he’ll have to throw himself out the tower window if he wants to stop the devil’s destruction, so that’ll involve yet another sacrifice.
Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Belle Brady (Martha Madison) will manage to come together in the midst of the mayhem, so that’s the one bright spot in all this.
Although Belle and Shawn will still have some relationship struggles to contend with, they’ll at least cling to each other during this scary crisis.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Shawn and Belle will bond again, but it won’t be long until Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) causes more hostility.
