Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) will get blamed for Duke’s decapitation after Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) runs with Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) wrong idea. Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will still have some suspicions about Ava beheading the teddy bear he shares with Nicole, but Ava will avoid going down for the “crime.”
On the morning of New Year’s Day, Ava will wake up fuming over the secret she overheard. She now knows Rafe and Nicole slept together, so she’s ready to unleash her wrath in a big way.
Ava started her vengeful plot by cutting Duke’s head off and leaving his stuffed remains on the desk.
Ava wants to mess with Nicole and will enjoy the thought of her “friend” making this disturbing discovery.
However, Ava will seethe all over again when Nicole sends an SOS call to Rafe. It’s to be expected, but Ava will still get riled up over Rafe dashing off to play the hero.
Days spoilers say Rafe will show up at Basic Black, where he’ll learn little Duke has been “murdered.”
Nicole is just coming off another fierce fight with Sami, so she’ll jump to the conclusion that Sami resorted to petty games. Rafe, on the other hand, will be skeptical of Sami’s involvement.
Rafe knows Sami awfully well and may argue that she’d think much bigger than a destroyed bear if she were plotting against Nicole.
It turns out Ava is thinking much bigger too, which is why she can’t afford to get caught right now. Ava wants to drag this out and make her victims pay in other ways.
That’s why Ava will lie about seeing a mysterious blonde at Basic Black and act like Sami could’ve indeed been the culprit.
Rafe will fish to find out if Ava herself might’ve had something to do with this, but Ava will wonder why he’d think so.
Ava will have the upper hand since Rafe can’t exactly admit what her motive would be!
Rafe won’t know how much Ava knows about his dalliance with Nicole, so he’ll have to be careful.
Days spoilers say Rafe will decide to check the security footage in the building and see if that mystery blonde was Sami. Of course, there was no mystery blonde at all.
Ava will get nervous at the thought of Rafe catching her on that footage, so she’ll try to talk him out of checking it.
Perhaps Ava will argue that it’s ridiculous to launch a full-blown “murder” investigation for a teddy bear!
In the end, DOOL spoilers say Rafe will let it go and apologize for acting like Ava might’ve been responsible. However, Ava’s on the verge of making some other alarming moves.
Rafe and Nicole will eventually begin to suspect they’ve been busted, but it may be too late to stop Ava’s payback by then.
