Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will prepare for a Florida clinic treatment after Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) shares a heartbreaking goodbye with his former flame.
During the week of April 11-15, a little piece of Xander will hold out hope that Sarah might get better.
After Xander informs Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) that the antidote didn’t work, he’ll admit he’s still not ready to make a marriage commitment.
Xander will want to speak with Sarah first – just in case there’s a chance she might come back to him.
Of course, Xander won’t realize Sarah was never given the antidote at all.
Sarah was injected with yet another dose of the mind-altering drug thanks to Gwen’s switcheroo.
Days spoilers say Sarah’s condition will continue to decline as a result.
Sarah was already reverting to childhood when DOOL fans last saw her, but she’ll seem even more kid-like when Xander meets up with her later.
It’ll be devastating when Sarah acts like a little girl and is impossible to connect with.
Xander will try to remind Sarah of their history and engagement, but Sarah may act like boys are icky and want to play with her toys.
It’ll become clear to Xander that Sarah is quite unwell and certainly in no shape to get their relationship back on track.
Xander will feel like this is the end of the road for “Xarah” and will truly let Sarah go at that point.
It’ll bring a crushing goodbye before Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) offers updates on the treatment plan she’s chosen for Sarah.
Maggie will reveal that she intends to get Sarah some help at a clinic in Florida, so that sounds like the same place that successfully treated Abigail.
Even so, Days spoilers say Xander will feel like the Sarah chapter of his life is over.
Although Gwen is his runner-up love interest, that’s something she knows and accepts.
Gwen will just be glad Xander’s willing to move forward with her and will happily resume plans for some speedy nuptials.
However, Gwen might want to pump the brakes when it comes to celebrating her victory!
