DOOL fans know Xander’s back was up against the wall financially, so he took a shady job snatching Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) for Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun).
It was supposed to be a simple case of babysitting hostage Susan for a while, getting the ransom and returning her soon after.
Instead, the whole plot went off the rails, so now Xander is in a mountain of trouble.
The fact that Xander has been lying to Sarah’s face is making things worse, especially since Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) is scheming to help him keep all his secrets.
Days spoilers say Sarah is bound to blow her top once Xander’s deception is revealed, so a breakup is inevitable.
Sarah will no doubt let Xander have it and announce that she wants a divorce since he’s gone too far.
Xander could be looking at serious charges, so he’ll also have to worry about the threat of prison.
DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) would love to take Xander down for what he did to Susan and Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans), so this could be her big chance.
Fortunately, Days writers have a knack for explaining away crimes and getting characters out of even the worst legal messes.
With the help of a lawyer. Xander may manage to stay a free man or at least regain his freedom following an arrest.
From there, it’ll just be a matter of whether Xander can save his marriage. Gwen will inevitably hope she can be the backup option that heartbroken Xander turns to.
Days might put Gwen and Xander back together, but could a surprise pregnancy be a game-changer for Sarah?
There was a time when Xander played the daddy role quite well – back when he was pretending to be a father to “Mickey” aka Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) early during the baby switch storyline.
