Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) will get caught kissing when Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) walk in on a hot lip lock. Here’s what DOOL fans can expect as things take a sizzling turn.
Jan has been building to this moment for quite some time by pulling Shawn closer and creating problems in his marriage to Belle Brady (Martha Madison).
Now that Shawn and Jan have a premature baby boy to bond over, that’ll really move things along.
Of course, Belle and EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) connection will also get stronger, so that could play a role in why Shawn lets himself fall under Jan’s spell.
However, you’d think Shawn would be smarter than that as a cop and someone who’s been down a crazy road with Jan so often.
Let’s not forget the reason that Shawn even has a baby with Jan in the first place.
Possessed Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) woke Jan up from her coma, so Jan literally teamed up with the devil to violate Shawn in bed.
Shawn never would’ve consented to that encounter if the devil hadn’t created an illusion to make Jan look like Belle.
This is on top of all the other nutty stunts that Jan has pulled – like kidnapping Belle for a bride swap and demanding that Shawn marry her instead.
What about the time Jan snatched Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) and left her to die in a rigged fire booby trap? This is not a woman that Shawn should be kissing under any circumstances!
Redemption is possible in some cases on Days, but Jan hasn’t shown any signs of real growth at all.
It’s no wonder Belle went running to EJ since Shawn’s been so willing to accommodate the lunatic who’s repeatedly tried to destroy their family.
Now instead of sending Jan back to prison, Days spoilers say Shawn’s going to be busy locking lips with her – just in time for Brady and Chloe to catch them during the week of June 27-July 1.
You can bet Chloe and Brady will object based on Jan’s history, so let’s hope Shawn simply won’t have a chance to push her off before they arrive.
Unfortunately, we also won’t be surprised if Shawn is a willing participant in this kiss considering how close he’s been getting to Jan lately. As other Days news comes in, we’ll offer more updates.
