Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Stephanie Johnson’s (Abigail Klein) mystery ex could show up and give Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) some new competition. DOOL fans know Alex has finally made some progress with Stephanie, but things may go wrong when he least expects it.
After Alex came through for Stephanie with that stolen file, she started to see him in a new light.
Stephanie now realizes she perhaps misjudged Alex – and that was partly because she compared him to someone from her past.
Stephanie previously fell for a guy who ended up ghosting her, so she worried about falling for another player who would do the same.
However, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) helped Stephanie learn to open her heart again – even if Chad’s not ready to open his in quite the same way.
That means Stephanie will stick with friendship when it comes to Chad and pursue a romance with Alex.
Although Alex and Stephanie’s date got derailed, they’ll have a chance at a do-over during the week of November 14-18.
Days spoilers say Stephanie and Alex will share some romantic scenes, so that should lead to their first kiss and some flying sparks.
Alex will be ecstatic when he realizes Stephanie is on the same page about where they stand.
Chad isn’t ready to move on from Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller), but his feelings for Stephanie will inevitably grow stronger.
Although Chad may provide some competition eventually, he may not be the only one!
It seems significant that Stephanie keeps bringing up the ex who ghosted her.
This guy must’ve had a tight grip on Stephanie’s heart if she was so crushed by him bailing out of the blue.
Stephanie thought they had a real connection, but then this mystery man disappeared without warning and never got back in touch.
What if there was a good reason for that? What if it wasn’t a simple case of ghosting like Stephanie thinks?
Since Days has been so vague about the situation, maybe Stephanie didn’t misread the connection at all.
People get kidnapped all the time on this show, so Stephanie’s mystery guy might be stuck in captivity.
Then again, this man might’ve wound up in a serious accident – one that landed him in a long-term coma or even gave him amnesia.
If nobody knew to tell Stephanie, she would’ve felt shut out despite a great explanation.
It’d be so easy for this former flame to come waltzing back into Stephanie’s life at some point. It might even be someone Days viewers have met before!
Bottom line, this whole ghosting thing seems suspicious and could set the stage for a deeper mystery to unravel.
