Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Thursday, July 7 Recap – Belle’s Attack Sends Jan Underwater – Chad’s Death Threat for Clyde

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, July 7, reveals that Belle Brady’s (Martha Madison) attack sent Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) underwater while Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) death threat for Clyde Weston (James Read) proved just how angry he was. Here’s how all the Days action played out.

At the DiMera mansion on Thursday’s DOOL episode, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) poured a drink following Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) funeral and ranted to Belle about his family being like a pack of animals.

EJ slammed himself as a bad brother before receiving word on Clyde’s arrest over Abigail’s missing jewelry.

Since EJ worried Clyde might’ve followed through on his threats, he marched down to the Salem PD.

Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) showed up as EJ was leaving and got the scoop on Clyde’s legal drama.

Belle also admitted to sleeping with EJ before reflecting on how she longed for Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and their family.

Meanwhile, Shawn realized Jan had stolen the baby from the hospital, so he called to report the kidnapping.

When Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly) called again, Shawn didn’t have time to deal with him due to the missing baby situation.

Jan eventually ended up at the docks and called Shawn before ordering him to meet her there alone.

Shawn left a vague and somewhat alarming voicemail for Belle, who was able to track his location.

In prison, Evan admitted to Orpheus (George DelHoyo) that he demanded to see his son now and assumed Jan was on her way.

Orpheus was astounded over Evan’s stupidity and felt they had to focus on the long game so that Evan could raise his child on the outside.

Back with Shawn, he approached Jan and tried to reason with her about the premature baby needing more care.

Shawn pushed Jan to hand Shawn Christian over, so Jan tossed the fake bundle she was holding and freaked out Shawn.

Jan then revealed that the real baby was already on board the boat.

After knocking Shawn out with an oar, Jan insisted he could wake up and watch her nurse as they sailed far away from Salem. This was Jan’s big plan for them to become a family.

However, Belle arrived soon after and struggled with Jan. Once Belle attacked Jan with the oar she managed to snatch, Jan fell off the dock and disappeared into the water below.

Shawn regained consciousness and dove in trying to find Jan, but he saw no sign of her.

Fortunately, Belle was able to retrieve the baby from the boat and held him safely in her arms as fireworks went off.

Outside the pub, Nancy Miller (Patrika Darbo) explained her boyfriend’s arrest to Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), so he realized his business deal with Clyde had led to big problems.

Later, Chloe cornered Nancy and wanted her to end her Clyde romance, but her mother continued to defend him.

Nearby, Leo looked nervous as Nancy insisted the guy Clyde did business with was the real culprit and would go down.

At the Salem PD on Thursday’s Days episode, Chad got updates on the bracelet leading to Clyde’s arrest.

That led to Chad physically attacking Clyde in the interrogation room, but Clyde assured Chad he didn’t kill Abigail.

Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) privately admitted to Chad that he didn’t think Clyde was the killer either. There was just no real motive that Rafe could see.

EJ offered one after he appeared and explained how he remembered Clyde delivered the order to kill him.

Clyde threatened EJ’s family to keep him quiet, so Chad was furious over his brother just now mentioning all this.

Whether Clyde faced legal consequences or not, Chad vowed to make sure he got a death sentence and urged Rafe to share that news with Clyde.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say this Abigail whodunit will come with other shockers, so stay tuned.
