Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Thursday, May 19, teases that Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) heart will shatter while Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) has a surprise encounter. Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will also play matchmaker again and hope Abe Carver (James Reynolds) ends up with the woman he belongs with.
First on Thursday’s DOOL episode, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will tell Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) about Sarah’s latest memory problem and admit she thinks Mackenzie “Mickey” Horton is alive.
When Xander asks for help keeping the truth under wraps, Father Eric will struggle with the idea of intentionally deceiving Sarah.
Days spoilers say Xander will act like Sarah is too fragile to hear the real story right now.
Although Xander will want Eric to claim he’s on vacation with “Mickey,” Eric may think Xander’s just trying to avoid another breakup.
Xander will indeed be trying to spare his own heart somewhat, but he’ll be thrown for a loop when Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) gets in touch with bad news.
Maggie will admit Sarah has vanished from the Kiriakis mansion, so Xander will worry about secret spillage if he’s not around to stop it.
At Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) apartment, she’ll face persistent Sarah’s push to see “Mickey.”
Nicole can honestly admit “Mickey” isn’t there – though she isn’t anywhere else either since the poor thing is dead and gone.
Sarah will demand to know what’s going on, especially once she sees Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) looking all cozy with Nicole.
That’ll lead to Nicole confessing that she’s romantically involved with Rafe now, so a confused Sarah will try to track Eric down for answers.
Once Sarah finds Eric, he’ll confess that “Mickey” is deceased and will fill her in on the baby swap saga.
Most of that may happen offscreen, but the point is Sarah will face heartbreak before Xander spies her sobbing in Eric’s comforting embrace.
Chanel will also stumble across Julie in the town square and get some support since Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) is in crisis mode.
There was a time when Julie considered Paulina an enemy, but those days are behind them.
Now Julie can totally understand Paulina’s desire to pump a bullet in TR Coates (William Christian) and rid their shared loved ones of this monster.
Of course, Paulina isn’t actually the one who pumped that bullet since she’s covering for Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers).
Lani will help Chanel boost Paulina’s spirits, but it’s Lani who’ll be in bad shape mentally.
The thought of Paulina going to prison for something Lani did instead will be hard for this tormented detective to accept.
At the hospital, Abe will continue to contemplate Paulina’s guilt now that he’s pretty much worked out what happened.
Days spoilers say Julie will drop by and give Abe another shove toward telling Paulina what’s in his heart.
Julie is really rooting for Paulina and Abe to get back together, but Paulina’s potential Statesville stint could be an issue.
Even so, Julie will think Abe needs to share how he truly feels and give Paulina some comfort.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Julie’s matchmaking efforts should pay off with Paulina and Abe’s reunion soon enough.
