Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) may propose to Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), so his marriage offer could worsen the guilt trip over her Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowen) secret.
Allie fell into bed with Chanel after her disastrous wedding reception and has been hiding that fact from Tripp ever since.
Allie wanted to come clean early on, but Chanel worried Tripp could kick her to the curb!
Since Chanel knows Allie’s got a good thing going with Tripp, she warned her to keep her mouth shut and preserve her relationship.
Even so, DOOL spoilers say Allie is definitely battling guilt about that night.
Allie nearly confessed at one point, but she decided to back out in the end – and that means her guilt’s only going to grow stronger from here.
To make matters worse, Tripp doesn’t suspect a thing. He feels totally confident in Allie’s devotion and thinks they’re finally on the same page in their level of devotion.
Days spoilers say that may be why Tripp starts planning a bold move.
During the week of January 31-February 4, Tripp will let Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) in on an exciting secret. He’ll have some huge plans that he’s thrilled about, so that could mean Tripp wants to pop the question.
Now that Tripp’s a real doctor and feeling settled in his new career, he may want to settle things in personal life, too.
Tripp might realize he’s ready to lock in his family with Allie and Henry Horton (Clyde and Nash Gunderson) through marriage.
Naturally, Tripp might fret over the situation with Chanel since her own marriage to Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) blew up.
Although Tripp may want to be sensitive to Chanel’s feelings and avoid pouring salt in the wound, he’s also a man who knows what he wants – that’s a future with Allie.
Of course, it’s also possible Tripp will simply want to get a new place with Allie.
Tripp’s huge plans could involve asking Allie to officially live with him, but they already spend a lot of time in Allie’s bedroom together.
Since Days makes it sound like Tripp is planning something bigger and bolder, he may have a romantic marriage proposal in the works.
If Tripp gets down on one knee and asks Allie to be his wife, will she turn him down and make a confession?
Allie might not be able to make that kind of commitment to Tripp with such a massive secret hanging over them.
One way or another, the truth about Allie and Chanel’s hookup has to come out!
