Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Tuesday, August 9, tease that Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) will stall Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Gabi Hernandez DiMera’s (Camila Banus) reunion while Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) has a tempting offer for Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk).
First, DOOL fans will learn more about Li and Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) intriguing connection.
Li just showed up at the secret lab, so he’ll talk about how he funded Stefan’s resurrection and monitored his progress while Dr. Rolf was in prison.
Dr. Rolf has already faced Kristen’s demand to wake Stefan up immediately, but now he’ll face Li’s demand to keep Stefan in his current state.
Although Li will seem pleased that the heart transplant was a success, he’ll need more time to prepare for Stefan’s return to Salem.
Li has become quite smitten with Gabi, so Days spoilers say he’ll worry about losing her once Stefan resumes his old life.
That’s why Li will want to cause a delay and give himself more time to pull Gabi closer.
There’s also the matter of where Stefan will fit in at DiMera Enterprises.
Li will want to use Stefan to his advantage somehow, but the timing just won’t be right – and that means he’ll want Dr. Rolf to keep Stefan on ice a little longer.
Of course, this will leave Dr. Rolf caught between Kristen and Li’s dueling agendas, so he’ll have to navigate things as best as he can.
In the meantime, Brady will tempt Kristen with a new proposal.
That’ll probably involve a plan to make Kristen leave Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) alone and perhaps resign from her position overseeing the Basic Black division.
Although Brady may promise he can make it worth Kristen’s while, she’s not the type to back down – especially when things are going her way.
That said, Kristen might agree to dial down the Chloe drama if Brady uses Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) as a bargaining chip.
Whatever the case, Kristen will continue to cause chaos in Brady and Chloe’s lives – whether a deal is struck or not.
Next, Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Belle Brady (Martha Madison) will have a deep conversation about their marriage.
That’ll lead to Belle and Shawn taking some positive steps forward as they work toward mending their broken bond.
Other Days spoilers say Nicole Walker Hernandez (Arianne Zucker) will run into Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) just before his date with Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu).
Once Jada appears outside the pub, she’ll pick up on Nicole’s vibes and know she’s not over Eric at all.
Nicole will indeed battle jealousy as she watches Jada and Eric head upstairs.
Although Eric will just be showing Jada a room to rent, Nicole will assume some lovemaking is about to go down.
Later, Eric and Jada will enjoy lunch at the bistro, so they’ll have a lovely time getting to know each other.
As for Nicole, she’ll struggle to get Eric off her mind now that she fears he’s moving on – and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) won’t be happy about his wife’s fixation on her ex!
