Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Tuesday, January 25 Recap – Ned the Pilot Makes Abigail Disappear – Xander’s Mask Story for Gwen

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, January 25, reveals that Ned Grainger (Chris Kalhoon) made Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) disappear while Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) had a mask story for Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). Let’s discuss how all Tuesday’s DOOL action played out.

At the airfield, Abigail demanded to know why Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) was impersonating Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey).

Ava claimed it was a harmless prank, but Abigail thought Ava might offer a better explanation to her police commissioner boyfriend and threatened to call Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering).

Ava countered that Abigail didn’t have to do that, but Abigail asked if she was supposed to just let Ava walk away.

Suddenly, Gwen appeared and knocked Abigail out with a shovel.

That left Gwen and Ava to debate what to do about Abigail, who was like a dog with a bone.

Ava thought all out-of-control dogs needed to be put down, but Gwen balked at the idea of killing her own sister.

Gwen didn’t like Abigail and what she was doing, but she didn’t want her dead.

At the DiMera mansion, Belle Brady (Martha Madison) showed up to get some toiletries for EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) to make him more comfortable in jail.

Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) refused to lift a finger to help EJ after what he did with his wife, so he recapped the story of EJ forcing himself on Abigail.

That news stunned Belle, who said there was no excuse for EJ’s behavior.

Even so, EJ was still Belle’s client. Belle wanted to get the stuff she came for herself and dash off to her meeting with EJ.

At the police station, DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) warned EJ that an appeal would be a waste of time.

Trask also taunted Belle for making the rookie mistake of letting EJ take the stand, but Belle acted like Trask’s insecurities were showing.

When Ned ran into a glum Xander in the town square, he was eager to collect his money in exchange for Sarah’s location. Xander argued that the deal was off and that he didn’t need the info anymore since he found Sarah.

Ned was upset since he bought a watch that cost a small fortune and didn’t want to return it. Xander argued that sometimes no matter how much we love something, we still end up losing it.

At the Hernandez house, Rafe told Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) that whether Ava was innocent or not, they couldn’t go on like this.

Rafe couldn’t get Nicole out of his head or his heart, so he knew he needed to end things with Ava.

Nicole was hesitant to move forward with Rafe since she was newly divorced – plus, they both cared about Ava. However, Rafe was tired of holding back and thought it’d be great to finally explore how they really felt about each other.

Back at the Salem PD, Trask was only interested in the facts when it came to the allegations against Rafe. She didn’t want Shawn Brady’s (Brandon Beemer) personal opinion and forced him to go over Rafe’s cases carefully to look for a pattern.

DA Trask thought Shawn could start by talking to the new perp who was still in lockup from last night. She suggested Shawn should have a little chat with the guy and see what he could find out.

Next on Tuesday’s Days episode, Chad showed up looking for Abigail in Xander’s room. He revealed that Abigail didn’t think “Sarah” was the real one and stirred up suspicions surrounding Gwen.

Nevertheless, Chad ultimately revealed that Gwen showed up during Abigail’s encounter with “Sarah.” Xander thought Chad should’ve led with that and acted like it was time for Abigail to let all this go.

Back at the airfield, Ava and Gwen needed a plan to deal with unconscious Abigail.

Ned arrived and thought this was quite the serendipitous moment since he was about to get the heck out of dodge – and he was willing to take Abigail for a price.

Ned argued that this was a premium job since he’d have to make Abigail REALLY disappear. He couldn’t just drop her somewhere nearby.

After Ned struck the deal offscreen, he muttered to himself as he finished stuffing Abigail in a large sack.

Ned was glad those ladies coughed up the cash since dealing with Mrs. DiMera was a lot of work!

In the police station interrogation room, EJ was shocked over Belle’s revelation.

Belle said Chad accused EJ of forcing a kiss on Abigail, but EJ insisted that was impossible and spelled out all the reasons why.

Afterward, Belle returned to the DiMera mansion and said EJ was adamant about his innocence. Chad didn’t have time to deal with all that since he couldn’t find Abigail.

At the Hernandez house again on Tuesday’s Days episode, Shawn showed up with updates on the perp from last night.

The guy claimed Rafe planted evidence to make him look guilty, so Trask sent Shawn to place Rafe under arrest.

Ava arrived with dessert and asked what was going on, so she watched along with Nicole while Shawn handcuffed Rafe and read him his rights.

As for Trask at the Salem PD, she gleefully told EJ that he was about to get some company.

When Gwen finally made it back to her hotel suite, Xander was there waiting for her. He admitted Chad told him a crazy story about a mask that he found hard to believe.

Gwen played dumb and acted surprised over the mask mention. She encouraged Xander to tell her all about it.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gwen will keep wiggling out of tight spots for now, but her day of reckoning will come sooner or later!
