Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, May 10, reveals that Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) was arrested for TR Coates’ (William Christian) murder – and Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) kept a huge secret from Eli Grant (Lamon Archey).
At Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Johnson’s (Mary Beth Evans) place, they got a visit from Seth Burns (Bruce Beaty).
Although Steve gave Seth a hard time for firing Kayla, Seth was there to offer Kayla her job back.
After Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) called Steve and sent him to handle an emergency at Paulina’s place, he left Kayla to talk to Seth alone.
Seth explained that Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) resigned unexpectedly, so he was desperate and needed Kayla to reclaim her role as the hospital’s chief of staff.
Kayla found out that Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) could keep her job, so that wouldn’t be an issue.
After Seth groveled a bit, Kayla accepted her job back and agreed to start tonight.
At Paulina’s apartment, Lani’s bullet hit TR before he collapsed to the floor.
TR seemed to be dead briefly, but he ultimately opened his eyes as Lani put pressure on his wound.
TR wanted Lani to know that he loved her and forgave her, but he ultimately died right in front of her.
Lani got updates on everything that had gone down before she got there and panicked since she should’ve just arrested TR, who wasn’t armed.
Paulina did her best to calm Lani down and called 911 to get an ambulance for Abe Carver (James Reynolds).
Once Steve showed up and saw the bloody scene in front of him, he asked what happened.
Paulina blurted out that she shot TR and stood her ground despite Lani’s attempts to intervene.
After Paulina insisted that she could take care of herself, she sent Lani off with Abe and the paramedics.
Paulina made sure her fingerprints were on the weapon as she committed to covering for Lani.
A couple of cops arrived, so Paulina made it clear that she wanted to lawyer up.
An officer read Paulina her rights as he made the arrest – and soon after, Paulina went through the fingerprinting process and had her mugshot taken at the police station.
At the crime scene on Tuesday’s Days episode, Steve was with the cops as they noticed the gun was a police-issued service weapon.
The gun was bagged up as evidence in Paulina’s case.
In Abe’s hospital room, he was awake following his blow to the head and seemed fine all things considered.
Kayla was pleased and wondered if Abe could remember anything from around the time of TR’s attack, so he thought back to Paulina freaking out and asking questions.
Once Lani finally made it to Eli’s room, he saw that she was covered in blood. Lani explained that TR was dead, so Eli wanted details.
After Lani hesitated and thought back to shooting TR herself, she misled Eli about what happened.
“Paulina says she shot him,” Lani insisted on Tuesday’s DOOL episode – which was technically true, but not the whole truth!
Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) also kept a secret from EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), who wanted to team up to oust Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) and be real brothers again.
EJ got Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) to resolve the shares situation and seemed excited about this new DiMera chapter.
Guilty Chad, however, called Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) since he was still hiding the fact that he helped frame EJ for kidnapping.
Kate warned Chad that EJ wouldn’t forgive and forget, so she thought the only path to this fresh start was for Chad to keep his mouth shut.
Chad eventually gave EJ a vague apology for the past and shook hands on this new brother beginning.
Back with Kate on Tuesday’s Days episode, she did her best to downplay Roman Brady’s (Josh Taylor) concerns about missing Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney), who had dropped off the map along with Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo).
Roman worried about the possibility that Sami had been kidnapped again, so Kate called Lucas in private and insisted people were asking questions.
Kate gave Lucas 24 hours to get back to her before she told Roman everything!
