Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Wednesday, April 6, teases that Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will seek paternity proof after Belle Brady (Martha Madison) fumes over his secret. Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) will also defend Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), so there’ll be hostility happening all over Salem.
At the pub, Clyde Weston (James Read) will spy for a moment outside before walking in on Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) and Roman Brady’s (Josh Swickard) romantic time together.
Days spoilers say Kate will be appalled over Roman hiring Clyde in the first place and will want him canned ASAP.
However, Roman is trying to do a favor for Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and keep his risky dad contained.
By employing Clyde, Roman is in the prime position to monitor him and make sure he doesn’t get caught up in anything shady.
Kate still isn’t going to like this – and neither will Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) when she opens up to Ben across town.
After Ben lifts some weights, he’ll turn his attention to Ciara and her worries about Clyde working for Roman.
Ciara will be unsettled over Clyde’s sudden invasion, but Ben will promise to keep her and their unborn child safe.
Ben would never let Clyde hang around if he viewed his father as a genuine threat – and if something changes, Ben will gladly get rid of Clyde himself.
Clyde is always going to be dangerous, so there are good reasons to be concerned.
That’s especially true since Clyde is locked in a battle with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerreigel), which deadly Orpheus (George DelHoyo) is caught up in.
Ciara and Ben don’t know about that war, but it could definitely lead to more drama soon.
In the meantime, Belle will hope Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) was making up the part about sleeping with Shawn on Christmas Eve.
Belle will beg Shawn to tell her that Jan was wrong, but he won’t be able to.
Instead, Shawn will admit he indeed got intimate with Jan and just didn’t want to reveal the truth.
That’s partly because Shawn was humiliated over getting duped by Jan and the devil’s transformation.
Shawn also didn’t want to cause any more marriage issues than necessary, but he made matters worse with the cover-up.
Days spoilers say Shawn’s confession will leave Belle livid. Belle will mostly be angry with Jan and the devil, but Shawn won’t get a total pass since he still lied by omission.
Although Shawn will acknowledge he’s possibly the father, he’ll also know how Jan operates.
Shawn will want to believe some trickery is involved and that another guy is the true “baby daddy.”
Belle will realize there’s a simple solution here. If Jan agrees to a paternity test, that’ll be evidence in Belle’s mind that Jan has nothing to hide.
It’ll seal the deal for Belle that Shawn is indeed having a child with Jan.
Of course, the actual results will be important as well, but Shawn has to kick off this next step by going to see Jan at Statesville.
Other DOOL spoilers say Jake will rush to Ava’s defense at his apartment.
Jake will make it clear that he invited Ava and won’t think Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) has any right to be outraged.
That won’t stop Gabi from seething over the bedroom discovery she just made.
Gabi spotted Ava in Jake’s bed – and since Jake is shirtless just out of the shower, it’s easy to see why Gabi has jumped to the wrong conclusion.
It looks like Jake and Ava will enjoy messing with Gabi at first, but they may eventually admit nothing happened – not that it’s any of Gabi’s business since Jake is single now.
Regardless, Gabi will grow more determined to win Jake back and push Ava out of the picture.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi will carry out some sneaky missions in the coming weeks, so stick with DOOL.
