Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Wednesday, July 20, teases that Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will get one last puzzle piece while Xander Cook’s (Paul Telfer) fury is unleashed. Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will also face a setback, so some DOOL love triangle drama is on the way.
Now that Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) has joined the Salem PD as a detective, she’s ready to take a person of interest into police custody.
Jada just interrupted Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) wedding to Xander, who’ll watch in horror as his fiancée faces an interrogation.
Xander will inevitably barge in the Salem PD and yell at anyone who’ll listen, especially Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering).
However, Rafe intends to pursue every lead – and Lucas has offered a critical one since his new flashbacks point to Sarah running from the crime scene.
While Xander creates an uproar, Lucas will have a few more memory flashes.
Days spoilers say Lucas will eventually face total recall, so he’ll click the final puzzle piece into place and remember everything he’s been missing.
Next, Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) will see that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) is in serious pain.
Chad will struggle with all the murder investigation whiplash and may point out that none of it will bring back Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller).
Sonny will offer some comforting words and a shoulder to cry on, but Days spoilers say Chad will remain distraught over this devastating loss.
Xander and Sarah’s wedding didn’t pan out, but Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will hope he has better luck with his own.
Since Johnny would love nothing more than to pick up where he left off with Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens), he’ll pop the question once more.
Chanel may remind Johnny that she asked for time to mull things over.
Although Chanel is still trying to decide between the twins, Johnny will hope this marriage proposal will give him an advantage over Allie.
It looks like Allie will at least face a temporary setback since this proposal will lead to Chanel and Johnny’s kiss.
Allie will witness the close moment soon enough, but she’ll remain in the competition for Chanel’s conflicted heart.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Chanel can’t leave Allie and Johnny stuck in limbo forever, so they’ll anxiously await her final answer during the week of July 25-29.
