Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for the week of April 18 to April 22 teases that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will vow revenge on Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) while Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) lean in for a kiss elsewhere. Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) freedom will also enrage Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus), so let’s discus what’s ahead on Days.
First, Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) will encourage Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo) to rejoin the dating pool by getting on a new app.
That’ll lead to a Clyde Weston (James Read) connection – and though Nancy won’t initially be all that attracted to him, she’ll appreciate his honesty about his time in prison.
Clyde will also give Nancy a pep talk about attending Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) and Leo Stark’s (Greg Rikaart) wedding.
Days spoilers say Nancy will ask Clyde to be her date so she won’t have to face pity from the other guests.
However, Clyde will assure Nancy that she’s got this and won’t think she needs any help to hold her head high.
It sounds like there’s the potential for Nancy and Clyde to have a nice slow-burn romance since he’ll be saying all the right things.
Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) will fail to shut down the ceremony since Leo will sign the prenup she sent.
Fortunately, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will dig for dirt in New York with Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker), so that’ll bring a chance to score serious leverage.
Chad will end up bringing Leo’s old partner in crime, Jackie Cox, so blow up Leo’s nuptials.
Leo won’t be able to talk his way out of trouble once his horrible scam is exposed, so Craig will halt the ceremony.
Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Gwen will decide to proceed with their wedding anyway.
Of course, that one should turn out even worse thanks to the immunity deal Ava pulls off.
Ava will testify against Gwen – and Abigail will expose all Gwen’s awful Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) secrets publicly.
Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will once again be infuriated and disappointed, so he may insist Gwen is out of chances this time.
As for Xander, he’ll explode over Gwen’s deception and cruelty. Gwen was willing to let Sarah rot on that island and even wore the Sarah mask to deceive Xander.
Naturally, Gwen’s worst offense was the syringe swap since she made sure Sarah got another drug dose to cause her mental decline.
Xander will rip Gwen to shreds and call the whole thing off, but Gwen will vow revenge on Abigail for destroying her world.
Ava’s freedom will leave Gabi and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) livid, so that’ll bring some DOOL drama as well.
We’ll also see Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) suspect that Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) has a crush on Ava.
Later, Ben and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) will settle on the perfect name for their bundle of joy.
Now that they know they’re having a son, that’ll make it easier to decide the right fit.
In the DiMera crypt, possessed Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will mess with Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) head.
That may involve filling Johnny in on Chanel’s deepening connection to Tripp.
Chanel and Tripp will indeed grow closer through their mutual heartbreak.
It looks like Tripp and Chanel will share a kiss at the bistro, so the devil might be able to use his powers and let Johnny see it play out – almost like a little movie in the crypt.
Then again, the devil could always recreate it through some illusion, but it does look like Tripp and Chanel’s budding romance will be the source of Johnny’s torment.
Finally, Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) will share a steamy kiss with Abe Carver (James Reynolds), so TR Coates (William Christian) may start plotting ways to tear them apart!
