Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of December 5-9 tease that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will need Sloan Petersen’s (Jessica Serfaty) legal help while Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) gets a deadly reminder. Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) will also have a bad dream about EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), so let’s talk about what’s ahead on DOOL.
For starters, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) will cause problems for Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker), which isn’t great news considering they’re already dealing with a fragile long-distance relationship.
Nevertheless, Sonny will continue to bond with Leo and may defend the changes he’s seen in him to Will.
In the meantime, Eric’s life will totally spiral out of control.
After all the no baby drama with Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) and exploding issues with Nicole, Eric will really go off the rails and gets himself arrested.
It looks like that could be partly due to punching EJ during a fight at the bistro.
Regardless, Eric will end up in a cell with Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) as she tries to sacrifice herself for Chanel’s sake.
Once Chanel is released, she’ll see that someone has vandalized Sweet Bits by writing “murderer” on the building. It’ll serve as a deadly reminder that Chanel can’t outrun what she’s done.
Chanel obviously didn’t mean to kill Martha Bedford, but she’ll still battle guilt – especially once Paulina is stuck in lockup.
Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will find Chanel in a moment of despair, so he’ll step up to comfort her.
Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will come to Jada’s rescue as well and bond with her as he offers support.
Nicole’s relationship with EJ will be more complicated since she’ll have a bad dream about him following a wild night of drinking.
Whether Nicole actually sleeps with EJ or not, it’ll seem that way when she wakes up in bed with him.
Of course, that could be part of this bad dream, but the point is things will get messy between EJ and Nicole – particularly since he’s on the verge of making her an intriguing offer.
Later, EJ will get a visitor he didn’t see coming. Will that involve another unexpected Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) sighting?
The first encounter was legit, but Ava also appeared in EJ’s nightmare recently. EJ may have to wonder whether he’s hallucinating or not if Ava shows up again.
However, this surprise visitor could also be Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) since there’s a good chance that she’s alive and well.
Over with Belle Brady (Martha Madison), she’ll have some doubts – presumably about going along with Paulina’s legal strategy for Chanel.
Eric will spend the night in jail with Paulina and will need a legal strategy of his own, so he’ll contact Sloan and ask her to represent him.
Soon after, Eric will apparently get out on bail and have a major showdown with Nicole. That’ll only add to the emotional distress for Eric as his life falls apart.
Other Days spoilers say Abe Carver (James Reynolds) will face public pressure to resign as Salem’s mayor, so he’ll land in a tight spot.
Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) will also feel backed into a corner when Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) grills him about Johnny and Wendy Shin’s (Victoria Grace) trip to Jakarta, but Li will manage to throw him off the trail.
As for Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), he’ll misunderstand a situation between Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn).
Although Alex may assume something more than friendly is happening, Stephanie will set Alex straight later. Alex and Stephanie will finally take their romance to the bedroom, so they’ll both enjoy the steaminess.
Chad, on the other hand, will struggle with complicated feelings for Stephanie, so he’ll confide in Sonny about what’s in his heart.
Back with Johnny, he’ll wrestle with his knowledge of Stefan’s brainwashing and have a hard time keeping his mouth shut around Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus).
Wendy will feel guilty too, especially after Gabi makes a special request. That could involve Wendy being a bridesmaid or even Gabi’s maid of honor since Rafe is Li’s best man.
Meanwhile, Days spoilers say Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will do her best to make progress with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), but she could hit some snags along the way.
Elsewhere, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will feel stuck when Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) insists on helping him, so that could involve the lawyer’s efforts to expose Rednax Pharmaceuticals’ dirty operation.
Finally, Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) will get hit with some trauma following her kidnapping ordeal – and that could lead to memories that offer new clues about Xander holding her hostage.
