Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will need a grand plan to win Sarah Cook (Linsey Godfrey) back. Xander will seek Jack Deveraux’s (Matthew Ashford) help to fix his broken marriage, so let’s discuss Xander’s tricky situation.
DOOL fans know Xander thought he was finally going to get his happily ever after with Sarah.
After so many false starts and botched Days weddings, Xander finally made Sarah his wife.
Unfortunately, Sarah and Xander’s honeymoon bliss was derailed by his one-night stand confession.
Xander came clean about sleeping with Nicole Walker Hernandez (Arianne Zucker) while she was still married to Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), but that was only part of the problem.
The bigger issue was that Xander blew up Eric and Nicole’s anniversary party – all because Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) offered him $1 million.
Xander argued that it was just business and downplayed his actions somewhat, which wasn’t what Sarah wanted to hear.
The fact that Xander tried to excuse his behavior certainly didn’t help matters.
Of course, Xander’s decision to dump Xander over this still feels like a major overreaction. This happened a long time ago when Xander thought Sarah was out of the picture for good.
Perhaps there’s something deeper going on here with Sarah.
Maybe Sarah is using this as an excuse to push Xander away and struggling to come to grips with the kind of man he is.
Sarah thought she could accept Xander’s past, but can she really? Xander can’t erase his mistakes – and we all know he’s going to make more!
This is just who Xander is as a person, so Sarah needs to accept that on some level if her marriage has any hope of working.
Xander adores Sarah with all his heart, so Days spoilers say he’ll hope they can get their relationship back on track.
What advice will Jack have to offer during the week of September 19-23?
Jack may not think it’s wise to push Sarah too hard right now. Xander isn’t a patient man, but he could cause more problems if he’s not careful.
However, Xander will surely feel the need to try something and may pull out all the stops with a romantic gesture.
Even if it doesn’t work, Xander will want to do everything in his power to win Sarah back.
Things may have to get worse before they get better, especially since Xander has some new schemes coming up this fall!
