Tonight’s episode begins with Special Agent Forrester’s dog doing better. He’s healing well. His cone is off. It was too early to tell about what they found when they performed surgery on him and so Forrester felt ready to return to work. However, his agent and girlfriend Kellet had a new problem. Someone from the bureau was sniffing around their case in Prague and it was considered highly suspicious that she shared a cab with a murder suspect. She later claimed that the suspect had been ruled out. Her father confessed to the crime and she didn’t know why she was being asked. She was told by the investigator that her role in the case was being questioned. Someone with power. Someone with the authority over Kellet’s life believes her actions in Prague were illegal. And it’s being investigated.

Forrester knew nothing about it. He didn’t even know an investigator had been sent until he showed up at the office and an agent from Europol informed about the internal investigation. Forrester would have asked Kellet about it, but they got a call from Ireland about an asset being under arrest and that person asked for Kellet. Kellet was the one who develops assets all over Europe. Liam Walsh was connected to a robbery and murder. He claims he’s innocent. He wanted Kellet to help him get a lenient sentence in exchange for getting her information about a group smuggling firearms into Europe.

Walsh gave them an address. The FBI went to this location with the armed response unit of the Belfast police and unfortunately, they walked into a building that went up in a fire. The Belfast police assumed it was a trap. They weren’t happy about the FBI’s involvement or the American intervention because they believed they were going to get Walsh off on killing a cop. Kellet was one of the few people to speak up for Walsh. She said the information he has was too important to risk and so they got Walsh to reveal what he knows. He didn’t say everything. He held certain parts back as he talked about his friend’s stepdad who used to be IRA.

Just because the war is technically over doesn’t mean the troubles haven’t stopped in Northern Ireland. Walsh mentioned some diehards who are in charge of the gun smuggling and he tried to make it out like he hadn’t been involved, but that was a lie. Walsh was in it up to his neck. Kellet supposed ex-wife and she realized that the divorce was just for a show. They got a divorce in case anything went south with the IRA. The divorce would mean the ex-wife wouldn’t be targeted. Which the ex-wife realized because she planned on making a run with her daughter and Kellet and Forrester interrupted this when they went to question her.

Neither of the special agents decided to stop Walsh’s family from fleeing. They knew the risks that Walsh was taking and it didn’t matter to them as long as his family was safe. They still wanted to use Walsh to get information on the smuggling ring. As they were awaiting Walsh to make a move with his buddies, they got footage of the shooting and Walsh was right. He was innocent. His friend drew his weapon once the police drew theirs and the policewoman that died only did so because her partner had been a coward. The guy who was the loudest about throwing the book at Walsh was the same guy who jumped when he saw that Walsh and his friend were armed.

This in turn spooked his partner. She pulled her weapon. The friend pulled his. They took each other out and the partner meanwhile went to hide behind a car. This cleared up any charges that Walsh might face, but he still needed to help them with this gun-smuggling thing and so Liam asked for something else. He asked Kellet to safeguard his family. She convinced the Northern Irish police to take a step back while she went alone with Walsh and that was a ruse to make sure no one was following them when he collected his family. His daughter was scared but they reassured her. Kellet then drove around for a while before it was revealed his family was going to be fine.

They arrested everyone involved in the gun smuggling ring while she was driving around. She didn’t tell him until after the arrests were made because she wanted to make sure he would still choose the right thing and he did. Walsh proved he wasn’t truly tied to the cause. He was just doing so for money and so he was arrested for the part he played but he will most likely get out in a few years. Walsh’s family was now safe. And Kellet returned home to be questioned.

They had a photo of her on the bridge where the gun used in a crime was later found dumped, but Forrester claimed to be her alibi and said that photo of Kellet wasn’t in fact her. And she didn’t like that he lied to her. She later told him that she needed a break from him while she deals with things.
