Tonight’s episode begins with Strand, he is shaving and listening to music. He finds out that Alicia is there for him and he says “Divine Providence.” He goes outside and Wes tells him she didn’t come alone. Morgan is not there and Strand notices, she says he is somewhere safe with the baby and he won’t find them. He tells her to come inside and have a drink with him, he can’t talk like this. She tells him one drink and he is thrilled. Wes asks him what he is doing and he says he got it covered. Wes reminds him that he could lose everything by letting Alicia in. Daniel comes in with Alicia, he wants to see Ofelia, Alicia explains that he is not well. Strand tells his men to take Daniel to the basement. Alicia tells Strand that he better not hurt him, Luciana lied to him and said Ofelia was in there. Wes tells Alica that she can be as outraged as she wants to be, but her, Mogan, and Luciana are just like Strand. Alicia tells him that he wouldn’t be alive if it wasn’t for her. Strand wants to give her the grand tour, but she won’t leave the area near the door. Alica tells him that one way or the other, he won’t be running this place after today. He says that everything he has done after that last night in Lawton, he did in hopes it would lead them here. She says she is ready to kick his ass. He makes a call and tells them to do it and cut the phone on the platform, he doesn’t want anyone warning them. There’s a herd of walkers trapped in a crater from one of the blasts soaking up some nasty stuff for months. He just told his rangers to lead them there, to kill her army. He tells he that she will come around eventually, she is going nowhere. He tells her that her army was never a part of her vision, he tells Wes to take her downstairs until this is done, then bring them both to the roof, an example has to be made. Alicia fights and manages to get a gun. Alicia takes Strand to the roof, she wants the beacon turned off that is attracting the walkers. In the elevator, she threatens to kill Strand when it stops. She jumps up to try to open a trap door and gets dizzy and falls, Strand takes the gun from her. She tells him that she is getting worse and she is not afraid to die. She begs him to turn off the light and call off the army. He tells her to stay with him and she will. She takes his hand, they have a deal. They get out of the elevator, Strand tells Wes they made a deal, and he says he is out of his mind. Wes pulls a gun on Strand and tells him that Alicia is his blind spot. Then, Strand’s men turn against him as well and Strand takes a risk and shoots. Strand and Alicia get free.
Strand’s man who is with Daniel gets a call to shoot him. Daniel has a feeling about it and kills him instead. He then goes into his pocket and gets some keys and a gun, just when Strand and Alicia come in. Daniel is pointing his gun at Strand, he tells him that he wants to see Ofelia. Alicia tries to explain to him what happened to Ofelia. But he won’t listen, he thinks she is alive and in the tower. Strand tells him that she is on the top floor. Strand tells him that he needs him to help them to get to her, Daniel says ok and puts down the gun.
Strand tells Alicia, that what happened with the baby, June, Grace, and Wendell, he locked them on the top floor. He says they will free them and get them on their side. He says she must think he is a monster, but he is the same guy he has always been. And, everything he has done has been worth it. Alicia is feeling weak, she tells Strand she doesn’t know if she can make it. He gets Daniel’s help to take her to an infirmary. Strand is looking through the medicines and Daniel is keeping the rangers at bay by shooting them. Then, Daniel finds a record of everyone in the tower, Ofelia’s name is not there. Strand tells him that Ofelia died in Mexico, she is gone. Charlie is there, she is sick, and she doesn’t have much time left, and Strand tells him it is the closest thing he has to a daughter. Daniel has a gun on Strand and Alicia tells him no, be the man that he wanted Ofelia to see. Daniel puts his gun down, Strand thanks Alicia, and Daniel goes to Charlie. Alicia is feeling a bit better, she tells Danie that they have to go but he won’t leave Charlie, he wants to be there with her. Strand and Alicia leave. Strand brings Alicia to a room where he stashed weapons. Strand tells her they make a pretty good team, she says they will soon find out. Strand goes up first and clears the way, when he goes to the sixth floor Wes is there with a lot of his men who have turned against him. Wes tells him to finish what he started, it is real. Strand runs for the door and goes to find Alicia. He finds her and helps her up, she is feeling weak again. All of a sudden, Wes and his men shoot at Strand and Alicia in the stairwell. Alicia and Strand get to safety. He tells her that he wanted a clean slate, he thought he would have more time. He turns to her and says that he loves her, she was the closest thing he had to family. Everything he did, was worth it. Wes and his man break down the door and tell Strand and Alicia to put their hands up. Alicia tells him not to do this, the people outside don’t deserve this. Wes found a transmitter in Alicia’s bag, she brought it from the bunker, she wanted to broadcast, people out there need help. Wes tells him that if he doesn’t protect the tower, he will. Alicia says she is not afraid to die. All of a sudden, Daniel shows up and shoots all the men, except for Wes, he has a gun pointed at Alicia and she has one on him. She reminds Wes that she saved his life once. All of a sudden, Strand gets up and he stabs Wes with a sword. Strand says he wasn’t going to stand down and they are running out of time. He runs to turn the beacon light off, Daniel is sitting on the floor, he was shot.
Wendell, June, and Grace are all let go outside, Daniel is there, he tells them they need to get in the tower, the dead are coming, and they can talk inside of the tower, just then, bullets are flying everywhere from the roof. Alicia and Strand shoot the rangers on the roof. Alicia sees the walkers coming and tells Strand to turn off the light. He tells her that she is never going to forgive him. They get into an argument and she tells him that he always makes the wrong choices. Alicia manages to get the beacon smashed and turned off, but all heck is breaking loose down on the ground. She turns on the transmitter, tells people about the padre, and the tower, and she gives them the coordinates. They are going to build the new home they are looking for, but they need a little help. Strand calls up to Alicia, there is a fire below and he tells her it is going to spread to the whole building. Alicia passes out on the platform while Strand is shouting her name.
