General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) funeral will end with a shock, so Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will make a distraught plea to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). A make-or-break moment is coming up in Sonny and Michael’s relationship, so let’s discuss what’s ahead.
Since the victims in the hook investigation seemingly have a Sonny connection, he’s really been shaken up over the threat.
Sonny has hired extra protection for many of his loved ones, but “The Hook” remains an ominous force in Port Charles.
The loss of Brando hit Sonny hard, so he’ll obviously still be grieving as the funeral gets underway.
Brando’s friends and family members will gather to say their goodbyes during the week of October 10-14, but that won’t be an easy task.
It’ll break Sonny’s heart when he sees Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) struggling to bid farewell to Brando.
The same goes for Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), who’ll have to accept that her beloved son is gone.
Sonny has been in Gladys’ shoes before, so his mind will no doubt drift to Morgan Corinthos (last played by Bryan Craig).
GH spoilers say Gladys will give Sonny a significant reminder, so her speech at the funeral may spark a big change.
Sonny may be reminded of how short life is and how you can’t let precious moments pass you by.
Since Sonny already lost Morgan, he certainly doesn’t want to lose Michael, too.
With “The Hook” on the loose, no one can know how much time they have left in Port Charles!
Sonny may not want to waste another minute on this pointless feud with Michael, especially when there’s so much loss swirling around their family.
Whatever the case, Gladys will remind Sonny of what really matters – and soon after, Sonny will corner Michael with a desperate plea.
That’ll catch Michael off guard, but hopefully he’ll at least be willing to hear Sonny out.
It sounds like Sonny will beg Michael to put the conflict to rest, but will his stubborn son go for the idea?
Time will tell, but that won’t be the only shocker happening after the funeral.
Sonny will also get updates on the next hook victim once Brando’s service winds down, so that’ll bring yet another bombshell later.
