General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, October 3 Recap – Cyrus Rescues Spencer – Josslyn’s Scary Knife Encounter

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, October 3, reveals that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) rescued Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) from danger while Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) had a scary knife encounter.

In Jacksonville, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) heard about Diane Miller’s (Carolyn Hennesy) stabbing from Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), who reassured Carly about her children being well-protected back home.

Afterward, Drew emerged from the shower wearing only a towel as breakfast arrived, but he put on some clothes after teasing Carly a bit.

As part of their mission to save the cemetery, Drew also revealed that he arranged for an interview with a reporter.

Although Carly might face some scrutiny regarding her past, she wasn’t afraid.

After Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) showed up at Deception, she admitted she needed an outfit for Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) funeral.

Sasha couldn’t buy one since all her credit cards were frozen due to the conservatorship.

Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) hooked Sasha up with something from Crimson and reflected on her own experience losing Nathan West (Ryan Paevey).

Once Maxie urged Sasha to take things one minute at a time, she assured Sasha that she could survive this – just like Maxie did.

In Pentonville, Cyrus came to Spencer’s rescue and got rid of an inmate named “Book,” who’d been beating him up.

Spencer wondered what was in it for Cyrus, but Cyrus said they were family and added that he would’ve helped any child of God in that situation.

Although Spencer acted like he had everything under control, Cyrus insisted not everyone was afraid of the protection Spencer’s family had in place.

Since Cyrus could handle guys like “Book,” he urged Spencer to call on him when help was needed.

As Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) quizzed Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) about Dex’s whereabouts, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) showed up at Pozzulo’s to complain about her bodyguard scaring the customers away at Charlie’s.

Kristina wanted Dex back on duty and assured Sonny of his innocence, but he pushed Kristina to take her current guard back to Charlie’s for now.

Once Kristina and her guard were gone, Dante admitted he found no evidence at Dex’s place and that Dex wasn’t there either.

Although Dante wondered if Sonny knew something, they were interrupted by news on Diane getting out of surgery.

At GH, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) offered positive updates on Diane’s recovery, so Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was relieved and grateful to Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) for sticking around.

At one point, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) asked Gregory about Reiko Finn (Mele Ihara), but Gregory couldn’t answer much since he was estranged from Finn for so many years.

Later, Gregory mentioned Elizabeth’s Reiko questions to Finn, who seemed baffled by why Liz would ask about his dead wife.

At Charlie’s Pub, Josslyn was concerned about Dex going missing, so Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) was confused about why she was so interested in this guy.

Trina also ranted about Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) meddling before talk also turned to Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) invitation to a comic book convention out of town.

When the topic of Spencer came up, Josslyn suggested she’d been thinking about going to see him with Cameron Webber (William Lipton).

Trina was reluctant to join them, but Josslyn wondered what Trina would’ve said if she’d seen Spencer before he was transferred.

Once Kristina showed up with her bodyguard and explained her last conversation with Sonny, Josslyn determined that Dex could be in trouble with his boss.

That led Josslyn to Pozzulo’s, where she was alarmed to find “Carver” holding a knife when she entered.

Back at the hospital, Sonny and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) marveled over being on the same side for once since they both wanted “The Hook” caught.

Soon after, Dante recapped the investigation so far as everyone waited for Diane to wake up.
