General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) may get a pool party shock and meet the guy of her dreams at a Society Setups event. Although Britt has been unlucky in love, it looks like things could turn around for her soon.
GH fans know Britt has had a hard time getting over Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), especially since she blames herself for his death on some level.
Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) was also rather cruel when he acted like Britt knew nothing about healthy relationships.
That was clearly just Spencer’s attempt to get Britt off his back so he could continue his Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) takedown, but it was still hurtful.
Britt is no doubt feeling even worse about herself at this point.
Despite Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) effort to get Britt back in the dating game through Society Setups, Britt doesn’t have a lot of faith in that either.
Britt got stood up when she finally tried to move forward with a date, so it’s easy to see why she’s discouraged in the romance department.
Nevertheless, Liesl doesn’t want Britt to give up on her hunt for the perfect man.
Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) also put in a good word for matchmaking services, so Britt will end up attending a Society Setups event with Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) and some other Port Charles residents.
This event will happen at the Metro Court Pool, so it sounds like a pool party will get underway on May 27.
There’ll be some steamy looks to kick off some sunny fun, so Britt should be ready and waiting for love to find her.
Could this be when Britt meets Josh Kelly’s new character?
Kelly is indeed the latest cast addition and will appear by the end of the month, so that seems to line up for this May 27 event.
Britt will share plenty of scenes with Kelly’s character once he begins airing, so it seems likely he’ll be her new love interest.
Maybe we’ll see a “meet cute” that finally gives Britt some hope for the future.
Unfortunately, Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) messy past with Kelly’s character could present a problem, especially if he spills some secrets and a warning about why Britt should stay away from this guy.
Britt may not be able to resist anyway, particularly since she’s got her own complicated history for any potential partner to overlook.
Perhaps Britt will truly find her ideal match, even if Dante doesn’t see it that way.
