General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, August 19, tease that TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will question injured Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) while Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) romance seems stalled. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will also be haunted by what he fears is a blunder, so here’s what fans can expect.
By the pool, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will continue his conversation with Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison), who warned that Finn could lose Elizabeth if he pushes too hard.
Finn has decided that although it would hurt, he could live with that as long as he knew Liz would be OK.
On Friday’s GH episode, Finn will stand his ground and argue that he can’t look the other way – even if Liz hates him for it.
It looks like Finn will ultimately reach out to Liz’s parents against her wishes, so he may make a phone call to her father, Jeff Webber (last played by Richard Dean Anderson).
At the hospital, Elizabeth will tell someone that he or she deserves the truth. That could be TJ since he’ll ask Liz about her injured hand.
Liz had a disturbing flashback and smashed a glass tube in her palm, so she’s going to face questions.
TJ will wonder if Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) said something to upset Elizabeth, but she may confess it was more like he triggered a memory instead.
Elsewhere, Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) will urge his pushy cousin to back off.
Mason (Nathanyael Grey) has been barking orders from the boss, but Austin will think they’re both crossing the line and will try to set boundaries.
Outside Kelly’s, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will hope that no news is good news during a chat with Sam and Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos).
Since Alexis hasn’t heard about any major drama for her daughters lately, she may hope that’s a good sign.
However, Sam does have a bit of a situation since Dante asked her to move in.
Although Sam has fallen hard for Dante, she’s wary of living in Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) old home and taking such a big step in general.
Sam will have the “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” attitude, but Molly may reflect on her own relationship with TJ and how they needed milestones.
Molly didn’t want to marry TJ, but she was able to show her commitment through a domestic partnership and take that leap.
Molly may worry that Dante now feels like his relationship is stalled or that Sam isn’t all in.
Of course, Dante will mostly be concerned about messing up the good thing he had going and will confide in Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) about that.
As for Alexis, she’ll meet up with Gregory eventually.
This could give Gregory and Alexis a chance to bond over their children’s problems, so they should grow closer.
Meanwhile, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will ask if Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) has been holding out on her.
Perhaps Spinelli will land in another tight spot regarding Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), who blackmailed him into matching Cody up with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
The tension had thawed when we last saw Britt and Cody, but it’ll come right back thanks to Cody’s next comment.
Cody will say something that leaves Britt wondering if it was a compliment or a cheap shot.
It tends to be one step forward and two steps back, but Cody will keep trying to win Britt over.
